As I can’t find a pre existing thread for such a subject I thought I’d start one.
So, out of all the audios Big Finish have released which ones would you say are your most listened to? The ones which you have given repeat listens to? And why? Merely because you’re in awe of some particularly good writing or because it’s a guilty pleasure?

Doctor Who - 5th Doctor "Prisoners Of Fate". Dark Shadows - "Beyond The Grave" . Outside of this fandom I have been a Huge horror movie fan (all the types) for about 36 years, nearly 37 . Saw my 1st R rated horror when I was 10. My top 2.

Up to this point, probably the early Rob Shearman staples (Holy Terror, The Chimes of Midnight). I even sought out the old BF script books on eBay so I could better absorb that man’s wonderful words.
In the long run, I expect the Stranded series is the most likely I’ll replay 10, 15, 20 years from now. I’m already missing these characters terribly.

Off the top of my head I think my most re-listened ones are likely
Dark Shadows: Beyond the Grave
Doctor Who: The Great White Hurricane Doctor Who: Spare Parts Doctor Who: Invaders from Mars Doctor Who: The Chimes of Midnight
Gallifrey: Intervention Earth
I'm quite sure I've forgotten some gems I listen to over and over, these are just the ones that spring to mind right away.

I don’t know about specific releases, but I do have a couple of ranges I revisit at least once a year.
The Diary of River Song The Third Doctor Adventures The War Master The Robots Adam Adamant Lives UNIT Torchwood The Sixth Doctor in general
I also suspect that the 9DAs, The Fugitive Doctor and Call Me Master will join the ranks over the years

Weird choice, but I've relistened to The Bekdel Test on more than one occasion. It's just a very good comfort audio. I've also found myself relistening to UNIT: Dominion with some frequency.

Most listen too big finish is spare parts I think…..or perhaps the Sarah kingdom trilogy…..both on about 5 or 6 listens
Most listened too audio is the BBC’s Lord of the rings, that’s probably on it’s 15th listen too….in the last 35 years
Most listen too book is probably the potter books, I put them on in times of stress as I find then relaxing but engaging……
But with so many now, not like in the old days where there was just a few, I try n do 2 listens to everything…..but gets harder to go back n re-listen more as always a new listen waiting….

You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

The Holy Terror for me, I think, closely followed by some of the early Dark Shadows releases, including the extraordinary The Night Whispers.

To offer my own contributions to the fold, I’ve listened to the Scorchies and the rather underrated Fever Island from the Fourth Doctor Adventures many a time.

Probably Love and War, Cold Fusion, Iterations of I, Circular Time, The Wormery, Creatures of Beauty, The Game, Ghost Walk, Equilibrium, The Darkening Eye, The Stones of Venice, The Next Life, The Children of Seth, A Full Life, Night Thoughts, Tartarus... so many to choose from but I go back to 'my era' most when relistening I think.

Doctor Who and the Pirates, Davros, and The Chimes of Midnight are probably my most revisited stories.
I also revisit Blood of the Daleks, Dark Eyes 1-4, and Doom Coalition 1-4 fairly often, as well as Aquitaine, Psychodrome, The Council of Nicaea… honestly that’s just scratching the surface.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Real comfort listens, those.
