I suppose there may be some cultural inertia prohibiting it, but I'd really love it if Doctor Who would cast a few more American actors. Bob Picardo would definitely be at the top of that list. Ooh, and Kate Mulgrew, too. SMILE? ? Are you kidding me? ? I cried my heart out. And my liver. And my spleen. And my kidneys.
Edit: To answer the question- this is purely rhetorical, is it? I mean, come on. And I admire Colin even more for keeping a straight face during all of the convention. Have I mentioned today how much I love him? There better be Frazer in one of the upcoming specials, or else!!!!
Was slightly tempted to give everyone 10 votes, I'll admit. And as for you, I would not be surprised in the least if you somehow managed to vote for Colin twice.

Like when I think of a good role for Picardo on Doctor Who, I imagine a one-off guest character. A local "authority" for the Doctor to butt heads with.

I loved the page on the credits -
And introducing David Tennant as The Doctor
(Would someone correct the spelling of BONNIE Langford's name please?)

Picardo is a friend of Sylvester, I am surprised he has not appeared in Big Finish yet, to be honest.

The bit that made be smile the most isn't on the list. Tennant is my favorite Doctor and when he began to materialize from the regeneration I let out a loud "Oh my God!" that startled the rest of the house. I literally leapt out of my chair in excitement, knocking it over, so that has to be my number one. I had a smile on my face for hours after that and found it hard to fall asleep that night.
My other favorite moments:
- Tegan and Five reunited and the simple but elegant way that Five proves to her he's legit. - The first time Ace calls The Doctor "Professor." I don't know why, but I just wasn't expecting her to say that and when she did it caught me off guard and I couldn't help but grin. In part it might be because Sophie Aldred's voice has not changed a bit over the decades so it sounded so perfect and genuine. - Ace's jacket, Nitro 9, baseball bat and one clubbed and detonated Dalek. - Paul McGann getting screen time in an episode. "Night of the Doctor" was lovely, but I've wanted him to appear in a proper episode for years. - Joe Grant looking radiant and smiling that big smile of hers. - Every Doctor's appearance. - Realizing that The Master was Rasputin. - Graham's return. - William Russel.

I've been wanting Picardo to appear in a Who story for years, He was one of the Highlights in Voyager, and he was great in Stargate Atlantis after they smoothed off his rougher edges in that! He's a fantastic actor!

I think it one point there were actually plans, or at least a desire, to do a crossover episode. Maybe... was that one of the ideas they had for Enterprise' fifth season? Would be pretty cool to see that resurrected, now that we've got a plethora of Trek.
Like imagine a TARDIS materializing on the Cerritos and an animated Colin Baker popping out.

Dunno what Cerritos is but a Star Trek crossover would be horrible.

Lower Decks is already getting better and better, this would be the icing on the cake. Someone ask Colin already. He already has Star Trek experience, even if only on the fan works.
