IMPORTANT: I actually set up this poll so you can vote twice, so vote twice!
*ahem*
So, yeah. Power of the Doctor sure was something, huh? I started smiling as soon as David Bradley showed up (I knew Ace and Tegan were in this ahead of time but everyone else was a surprise) and then my face warped into one helluva a grin when it was McGann's turn. Goddamn! McGann! Incredible. Indelible. Impossible. Perfect.
I'm curious how y'all reacted to the one-off fanservice characters in this special. I mean, sure, we can argue that they were all criminally underused (barely one scene each for most of 'em) but even so, it was a delight to see 'em all again.
I thought about limiting the poll to just the holo-Doctors (Tennant excepted as his is not a one-off appearance here) or doing two polls, the second for the companions, but since we can apparently allow polls on this board to take multiple votes, I'm giving each user two. My thinking is: vote for the Doctor who made you smile the most AND the companion who made you smile the most. But, hey, if you wanna vote for two Doctors or two Companions, that's cool, too.

McGann and Russell. McGann cos whilst the 80s Docs had been rumoured, he was a complete surprise. And god damn he still hasn’t aged a day. Russell, because that’s something I never thought we’d see. Apparently it might even be a record for length between character reappearances. 57 years!

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

The whole damned lot. It was a gorgeous love letter to the history of the show.

The "support group" at the end, and the lil chats between companions and their Doctor counterparts".. I'm really hoping that, eventually, we'll get an extended version of that scene, or even like a short special for YouTube or something. Just like 10-20 minutes of the group chatting.

Oh there were plenty of moments throughout the episode that had me smiling, but by an absolute country mile the biggest grin was for William Russell.
Doesn't matter in the slightest it was a very brief appearance and just few words. It was a man in his late nineties in a Doctor Who episode almost fifty nine years after he appeared in the first one. Goofy doesn't even begin to describe the grin on my face when he appeared..😊

I'm surprised, though, that they resisted having the holographic Doctor enquire about the nature of the medical emergency...

Ok, don't think it would have been good to have that reference in Dr Who.

SMILE? ? Are you kidding me? ? I cried my heart out. And my liver. And my spleen. And my kidneys.
Edit: To answer the question- this is purely rhetorical, is it? I mean, come on. And I admire Colin even more for keeping a straight face during all of the convention. Have I mentioned today how much I love him?
There better be Frazer in one of the upcoming specials, or else!!!!

Ian for me! Lovely. And probably a world record for longest gap between appearances, which is cool.

Now THAT really was missing. Missing? I don't understand why a Star Trek reference should be made in a BBC centenary episode of Doctor Who. Because Robert Picardo and the classic Doctors have been playing this game at the conventions for years now. It is a bit of an insider joke.
