I live in a small town in the Midlands and occasionally buy DWM, I like to see what's on the index page before buying as it's quite pricey for how quickly I read it.
I usually buy from the supermarket or post office but since the summer all the local shops I've visited appear to have stopped selling it. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed a reduction in stock or absence in their area?
Sometimes I feel like the only Whovian in town, it's sad to think of decreased interest being the cause.

I have not seen it sold in Germany anywhere at all. I have been travelling around a lot in recent years, and usually, you could always buy DWM in train station book shops of the large cities. At horrendous insane prices. But it was there. I have not seen it anywhere in recent years, not even at the largest airport, Frankfurt. I have not seen it anywhere around Birmingham either, when I was over on my work trip in November. And believe me, I looked. I wanted that very DWM release! Oh well, such is life.

Same.. I haven't ever seen 1 in my hometown, only in Melbourne (1 state over from me) in 1 of the best nerd pop culture stores ever "Minotaur Books", they usually get a handful in every month.

They’ve had distribution issues for the past few issues, I believe, which should be overcome with the next issue.
Ultimately if it’s not being stocked that’s because it’s not being bought. That doesn’t necessarily mean a decreased interest across the board - the two issues with Liberation of the Daleks have both had another print run - but it just may not be popular in your area. If they’ve been stocking it and found that nobody’s buying it, or someone’s having a quick flick through and then not purchase, then they’re not going to continue to stock it.
I appreciate it’s not the cheapest purchase ever, but they do list the contents of the magazine on the Panini website before release. You could potentially look to order it to a local shop if it interests, or buy it online, or WH Smith’s if you have a local one. It may be worth looking into a subscription too, as that does have a substantial discount and eliminates the worry of trying to find the issue; you might find that it works out the same price to get a whole year subscription as it does for the odd issues you do buy throughout.

In Australia it is so far behind as to not be worth getting in hard copy (apart from specials which are worth keeping) so I get it digitally. You can get individual issues or get it via subscription - it’s also a reasonable amount cheaper this way.

I’m surprised; I can find in in Canberra which is a fair bit smaller than where yr from - my local newsagent and the comic shop I frequent both stock it. But I suspect it’s a bit random over here. and I’ve also been known to pop in to Minataur books when in Melbourne (along with a multilevel store, the name of which frustratingly escapes me just now, on Elizabeth street).

Yes, I know the one I think (?) Borders?
Minotaur books is unfortunately even MORE expensive than what we normally pay here, Ridiculously high prices for the boxsets, it's like they just added an extra $20 to everything.

I tend to only buy occasionally if it catches my eye when I'm at the supermarket, money's tight so I tend to prioritise listening to Big Finish or reading a good book.

The truth is that Doctor Who is so expensive, even for an online subscription, that every time I've looked into getting it, I've decided against it. I'd love to be able to get it regularly, but I just can't justify the expense.

I have to agree, it is an overpriced magazine. I've only ever bought it once (saw it on the magazine rack in Chapters) and only read the comic and two or three articles - little else grabbed my interest. These days for the comic, I just wait for the collections to come out to buy them. It is a better use of my cash.

It was never cheap. Always too expensive for me to consider buying it on a regular basis.
