I'm so glad this range is continuing. Was there really any doubt, I wonder. But only two boxsets this time round?

I knew it! Only a conflict as monstrous as the Time War could have produced something as terrifying as the Diddy Men! Thankfully, as we all know the War Doctor was able to imprison them in the temporal prison known as the ‘Treacle and Jam Butty Mines of Knotty Ash’ I’m also a bit surprised we’ve only got the two box sets as well. Maybe it’s like a The Robots situation where it was only going to be the four but they extended it? |

Maybe the sets are coming out in sets of two now - who knows - but I take heart from David Richardson's words: "Here’s to many new adventures, friends, enemies and dilemmas ..."

Great news. Love the range and it’s got plenty of untapped potential. I like that Case is returning and think it’s a good idea for War to build up a motley crew of people he can depend on as and when needed. Lovely to see a new writer on board and to get a new story from Phil Mulyrne again. I know he wrote for Battlegrounds, but it was an unconventional story and he did the underrated A Thing of Guile for Infernal Devices, which I liked a lot.
A two set commission seems to becoming the norm now. It fits in with the format of Doctors 3-7’s move to box sets and also matches what we’ve been getting with the spin-off announcements recently. I think it’s a better way to assess popularity and feedback than a four set announcement you’ve got to commit to and likely have a plan for.

Hmm interesting. I might be content to pass tbh as I’m kind of feeling the itch of early War Doc has been scratched for me (though I haven’t finished latest set so maybe that’ll reinvigorate my interest).
Is it just me or are the proportions of the characters on the cover way out. Case and the Time Lady’s heads just seem large compared to rest of them.

Hmmm....
I still have not listened to my pre-ordered series 1 run. I have all 4 of them....
But I just get so much audio uncanny valley feeling, I have not even made it through the very first story.
Will hold back on this until I actually sat through the first run....
I am also abit over the Time War, I am afraid

Looking forward to this set, the stories are intriguing and I loved Case the first time round.
The story with advanced Timelord field hospital is interesting, I wonder if we'll get some hints for the 60th anniversary specials, is it a coincidence that this is released the same month as Past Lives?
I'm loving this range, Box set 3 was a little inconsistent but I thought the others were brilliant.
