A spaceship called The Nightjar? Right, the first prediction on my part is that it'll involve vampires.

This is the first story set between Snakedance and Mawdryn Undead? Interesting.

Sounds very interesting, and love the TARDIS team, so definitely up for this.

They're certainly giving us some intriguing premises for Fifth Doctor stories. Curiosity most definitely piqued.

Peter looks like he's lost some weight, nothing to worry about but appears trimmer than last year's photo from Forty.

Peter looks like he's lost some weight, nothing to worry about but appears trimmer than last year's photo from Forty. I think they do it because they think it is "tradition"- after all, the TV series also does the promo pictures in the car park (see also the new promo video for the very latest Doctor).
I also think that is weird, but hey, I am a vet, no marketing specialist.

This one sounds intriguing, I like the idea of exploring the darker and dangerous side of space travel. Snake dance and Mardryn Undead are two of the best of serials from season 20, along with Enlightenment, I hope this one has a similar ethereal atmosphere.

This sounds much more my speed than Conflicts of Intrest, which is on the list for a sale purchase. This might be a day one purchase instead.

Tim Foley writing the main story looks promising. His River Song story Friend of the Family is one of my all time favourites from Big Finish.
It's often all too easy to pick fault with recent stories that have perhaps been a little pedestrian (for me, all of Once and Future) but FOTF was absolutely brilliant. Tim Foley has written several stories I've listened to recently, all top notch, he's certainly a writer that gets my attention when new releases are announced.

I am not getting tired in mentioning that Friend of the Family might be one of the best things BF has done in recent years and maybe the best River release full stop. So yes, I agree with you.

Definitely, everything just worked perfectly in Friend of the Family. I'd like to see similar story structure in the Doctor Who ranges. One story told over 3 to 4 episodes. The single episodes and 2 hour episodes are fine, but every now and then it's nice to get guest characters that we can feel a deeper connection with.
