Makes for a solid introduction to Mike Yates at least. Although, I always felt like Big Finish never really took full advantage of developing him further from what we saw on television. Such character exploration only really occurs in this and I believe “The Magician’s Oath”

Mind you, I’ve not listened to much of the Third Doctor Short Trips so maybe I’m missing something.
