They’re certainly keeping their cards close to their chests when it comes to the identity of the Renegade aren’t they?
To be honest, I’m more than convinced that it’s another incarnation of the Collective now.

To be honest, I’m more than convinced that it’s another incarnation of the Collective now. I dunno, if they're pushing the jewel-thief aspect of Lady Christina, wouldn't the Nine be a better choice over the Two? While the Two is still the most likely scenario, I'm not altogether convinced. And, from the trailer, {Spoiler} isn't it interesting that he's actually intrigued by the plot? Could the degeneration actually be story factor for once?!

Nice little slice of Modern Who and the most overt BF Connections in the saga so far goes almost without saying the verbal showcases are delightful

A talented cast making the best of a thin story in the midst of a bad comedy. Michael Maloney's character was interesting, but as ever, this series is more keen on getting X and Y to meet Z for no particular reason. It would be wonderful if BF could have made Lady Christina into an interesting character the way they did with Mel or the Sixth Doctor, or Jackie into someone other than a working class stereotype who talks about bus journeys, cleaning jobs and Bingo - but no. Possibly Harry comes off best here - we get to meet him as an older man, but he's still talked down to, still a bit of an 'imbecile.' Sorry to say, not only did I not really like this, but with each subsequent release, my hopes for this range sink. It doesn't make me happy to say that.
"I could murder a bacon butty." "No you couldn't, it's already dead."

I thought it was great. Thin, but great.
Jackie and Lady Christina worked surprisingly well {Spoiler} and it's a shame that Jackie's shrewd comment that Lady Christina needs a mother isn't going to be easy to follow-up. Maybe the Doctor can reintroduce them?
I'm not sure that Michael Moloney got a fair crack of the whip {Spoiler} but are we going to see a whole new, nicer, version of the Collective from now on?
But the biggest question is
{Spoiler} who was the person manipulating the events? Missy? I'm thinking River Song.. we haven't see the eighth Doctor yet and we're still owed a River/eight story to followup the 8/Benny/River teamup

Well, for me, that was the least enjoyable story in this anniversary series. Jackie and Lady Christina were a great double act, I enjoyed hearing Harry sound like Harry (I didn’t think he did in the Cybermen story) and Colin is always good fun. But the story with The Two was incredibly disappointing.

I thought it was a tedious listen. Jackie & Christina’s interaction is irritating, I don’t think either of them contribute anything and that’s reinforced by their characters being reductive of their TV personas. Naylor has hit his stride as Harry, but is given very little to do. Michael Maloney is completely wasted. And then it’s all neatly wrapped up in being one big coincidence to be handled at a later date, or perhaps not at all. We’re still no further into the degeneration arc and any mention of it continues to be a brief exchange of lines between the Doctor and whoever they’ve managed to drag into the studio.

Oh it’s another Past Lives. A complete nothing burger where there’s no real conflict, theme or point. I will have forgotten everything about this within hours.

On a scale of one to ten? That was certainly... Fifty-four minutes. I didn't DISlike this release or anything like that (don't get me wrong), but I doubt that it's one that I will ever really 'bother' listening to outside of run-throughs of 'Once & Future'...

I have a lot of time for Lisa McMullin who I think is one of the better recent writers of theirs, but this didn’t really land for me as well as the others. Jackie and Christina were a solid double act and the character interactions were strong, but the plot just didn’t engage me. Hopefully a second listen will land better.

There's potentially a better story from a Lady Christina set in this, and even one with Harry and The Collective (of which this incarnation is SO bland and undercooked...what does he do here that's not something another could do, or The Monk?) but those stories and then the complete non-story of the Degenerating Doctor just turns into a sludgy soup.
Colin's fun enough..but he's playing his Doctor. Once more I get ZERO idea that this is another Doctor in these bodies. It's almost the kind of thing we'd expect from a mid-season romp but this whole series has been so lightweight that we don't need that release of a lighter story.
This one doesn't even bother to do a wraparound, just a couple of minutes at the start and nothing at the end. I'm just....what IS this? What is this celebrating other than "here's a character..and another...isn't it odd to hear them together?".
Realistically, the odds for having another anniversary with this many - Sylv and Colin would be 90 in a decade, Tom 100. Even Tennant would be in his 60s! This is just baffling, odd stuff that I cannot possibly imagine coming together to form any kind of cohesive story. A lot of "things" but in terms of plot, story and character? C-Beebies wouldn't have this.

I am previously on the record that I don't necessarily mind crossover 'gimmicks', as such*, in relation to O&F? Whilst I haven't DISliked any of it, yeah, I am rapidly starting to loose interest... (Which is a crying shame).
* If they're done for a 'purpose' and not just "wouldn't it be nice if -?"
