This release has a stacked guest cast!
I’m really looking forward to hearing from Carole Ann Ford again, it’s been forever since Susan’s war.
I’m really looking forward to hearing her and Alex Kingston together. I know we had them back in Volume 6 of Susan’s war, but I’m hoping this time around she can be a bit more candid about her relationship to the Doctor.

That’s not an impressionist, I think that’s the real thing! Sounds too much like Matt aged than it does Eleven, to my ears at least.

EDIT: I would agree with Shallactop, that sounds a lot more like Matt nowadays than 11 in general, and it seems like a big tease at the end of the trailer, which I don't know if that would be the case if it was Dudman. Also, could this have secretly been a reason Dudman is stepping down as 11?

It sounds too much like Matt in the present day than it does him as the Doctor, which is how Dudman would sound. You know what I mean, the original actors are playing the Doctor on audio, but each one of them with some passing of time. |

I am 99% sure that's Dudman. Also, from a marketing point of view this would be a terrible way to announce they had Matt Smith. There would be a massive fan fare and an announcement on the official Doctor Who twitter as well. Plus, I doubt the BBC would let them announce something like that so close to the show's return - they won't want it to overshadow.

God damn I genuinely cannot tell. It feels odd to underline Dudman in such a way (other recasts who have popped up haven’t got that attention), but at same time it’s a weird way to reveal it.
Well goes to show how good Dudman is that people are struggling to tell!

Well goes to show how good Dudman is that people are struggling to tell! Yeah, it's so out of the blue, and for that alone it feels like they are purposely teasing everyone. Also, I saw someone mention that they don't think the BBC would allow such a big announcement before the show returned, which I would disagree with. I feel like with it being the 60th, I would guess that we will be getting some big news for Who at BF to celebrate, which before this trailer I would have guessed finally getting some details on Fugitive Doctor and Dhawan Master sets, but now I'm not so sure... |

Personally, I think it’d be odd to highlight it if it was Dudman (no offence to him, of course) and I do think it sounds closer to how Matt sounds now than Dudman’s impression.
