Right.
Since this will be VERY long, I think I will separate my report into several posts.
I will first do a little write-up with a bit more information and news / rumors and then I will show pictures.
Many pictures.
Information that I gleaned with the respective actor (I actually asked some of the awkward questions, like "Can you tell us something what might be coming up?"):
Sadie Miller
- there are more stories coming up, she has 2 more recorded
- One of the writers is Tim Foley
- Was not allowed to go into any details
- But all the actors as well as the panel interviewers were going into how awesome "Once and Future" was and the panel interviewer asked me what I thought (I was VERY diplomatic about it, my thoughts can be seen in the respective threads) and asked me also if I recommended it for new listeners. I said "no", because too many characters (and too many BF characters) thrown in, and a newcomer would be overwhelmed. I recommended something like the 3rd or 4th Doctor boxsets or some of the earlier main range (depending on which Doctor people prefer, of course)
Janet Fielding
- I asked her what her favorite and least favorite BF stories were, and she said she LOVED the one in France during the second world war (I had to look it up, it is from "Conflicts of Interest" and is "The Edge of the War" by Jonathan Barnes) and she hated the last story they did with Gary Russel.
- Then Janet let slip that BF was planning something with Tegan and Ace together (some team-up, like in Power of the Doctor). Janet was very keen. But she has not heard back yet.
- And if there is more TV work coming up, Janet would love to work with Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi
Yasmin Bannerman
- she is a nerdy introvert who is often afraid of people
- in her youth she was massively into sci-fi, she watched Who, Blakes 7, and all the other old shows and had a crush on Peter Davison
- so she understands many people in the room and who come up to her
- acting and acting school helped her, and it also helped her to work in a group
- she gives valid advice: Introverts need to keep active, we have to keep creative. When we are unemployed and without purpose, we go inside ourselves and destroy ourselves. We need to keep being creative and doing things, even if it is something silly like some lines of poetry or painting
- Besides her doing more work as Roz Forester, she has also recorded another story playing a different character (not allowed to say more)
Daisy Ashford
- For now, no more Liz Shaw audios in the pipeline, they do alternating stories, and rotate all the 3rd Doctor companions, so next up it will be Jo and Sarah-Jane again.
- She REALLY wants to get into the current UNIT series and will ask BF about it
Tim Treloar
- I did some more digging when visiting him personally about the Master (as discussed above in this thread) but he did not give any more clues or information. Oh well, I did my best.
- His favorite TV episode is "the Daemons" and he has for some reason NOT seen the 3 Doctors (which got him severe disappointment from his interview partner and the audience)
- His favorite BF episodes were the "Annihilators" and "Kaleidoscope" (he loved the snow mobile)
- He also loved the Jo Jones stories, since Katie got very emotional and it was just a very personal and emotional recording
- Then the interviewer handed him the book "Last of the Gaderene" (Mark Gatiss) and he had to read a scene in the 3rd Doctor voice. Which was great
- And then one audience member got up and Tim had to do the final speech of the 7th Doctor in his 3rd Doctor voice and it was absolutely uncanny, very well done. I hope someone recorded it and puts it on Youtube, then I will share it here
Right, this is the major news.
Now I make a couple more posts with pictures!
