Not a bad line up this year. Though will miss Ghosts after it’s over.

Sorry but who put that release together? The reveal of the events of "The Six" in Eastenders and Ncuti's 1st appearance with context are the Non Factual Events of the Year (and have been promoted as such) they should be least 2nd or 3rd in the list. Regards mark687

Regards mark687 Doctor Who and EastEnders are both highlighted on the front page - Doctor Who and Ghosts are in the opening quote, then Doctor Who is the first programme mentioned in the text, with EastEnders fourth. Then in the Festive thrills section they're the top two programme listings. I don't see the problem.

It's only a media centre piece. Designed so any outlet can pic or choose what to run with or not. Cultbox can do a "First pics of Ncuti", something skewing older can pull the bits about Strictly or Mrs Brown. The order isn't remotely important. Besides, never mind Who for once...as I said when it was announced, Nic Winding Refn doing an adaptation of The Famous Five is one of those "No...I dreamt that" things. Director of Drive, Only God Forgives, Neon Demon, Bronson......does lashings of ginger beer?

Have to say, a little letdown - not as weird as I thought it'd possibly be. Refn's not even directing any of the episodes.

I'll always remember a reaction vid saying Eccleston's "Rose....I'm coming to get you" was one of the best, most epic cliffhangers" - blissfully unaware it was doing Davina's Big Brother catchphrase as a pun on where The Doctor had just been. But yeah - Mark's right - she's been Davinabot before, so this is really quite meta. And it's back to RTD's love of getting names to play themselves in small roles - from Paul O'Grady to McFly, Sharon Osborne to...Anne Widdicombe.

The Goblins pictured for the Xmas Special look really creepy. I love the more scary and dark Xmas episodes.
Christmas Carol, The Snowmen, Last Christmas and Twice Upon a Time are my favourites.
RTDs Xmas specials from his original run were fun but generally more light hearted.
That's not to say RTD can't do dark and scary, with Midnight and the Yana/Saxon Master trilogy proving he can.

Original Pic from Nuti's own Instrgram Regards mark687 I'm guessing that's been "doctored". He looks more like he's riding an invisible motorcycle rather than running. And let's face it, Ncuti was NOT leaping like a gazelle across the top of an actual house roof
