Nice plugs for 2000AD. I was lucky enough to get the complete set of audios when BF still sold them all on CD.

I grabbed Survivors Vol 1 and the audiobook - no interest in Night of the Triffids, I never could get into John Wyndham's writing.

I grabbed Survivors Vol 1 and the audiobook - no interest in Night of the Triffids, I never could get into John Wyndham's writing. This sequel was actually written by Simon Clark, who wrote one of the (very good) Survivors stories from series 3. I don't know whether that sways your opinion at all!

Triffids is wonderful but I knew any chance a Triffids range had for taking off ended when Survivors was launched, sadly Survivors is great but I really would have loved more Triffids.

I... had honestly forgotten that Night of the Triffids existed! I guess that one kind of breezed by me. For the fact that it's on sale though? I might give it a try.
Unfortunately, I know absolutely nothing about Survivors (either the original or remake series), so I'll probably pass on that part of the sale. (Also since all of my bills are due this week, better to save the cash!)

And the audios aren't connected at all to the remake so ignore that. The reboot wasn't as bad as some say but it's not as bleak as the original or the audios.

Survivors series one is Dark. I just started it, and five seconds into Louise Jameson introduction I have to go, "stepping away now. Come back later."
