I've read it and enjoyed it, possibly a bit slow to begin with but paces well, it is planned to be a 10 book series so probably isn't going to go that fast

He co-authored the final story in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series (a friend of mine used to read those, so trust me when I say those were really dense), which was split into three books, with each totalling at least 750+ pages. It took me a while (a month for the first and only reading, I think a gave it to charity or sold it to a second-hand bookshop when I needed the shelf space) to get through the final Eragon book, another title that's easier read on the Kindle than it is carried around. Heaven help the person reading the audiobook for that (all four books in general), with all the flowery language the author used. If you really want to find out how it ends, just read the wikipedia article.

Wheel of Time is my favourite book series, and have listened to all 14 on audio (certainly took a while, and Sanderson's books weren't the longest in the series, though up there). So I would enjoy listening to the Stormlight Archive as well (especially as the same narrators) - so not put off by the length, just thought I'd warn that it is planned to be a long series!

The problem with Wheel of Time to my thinking was not so much the length of the books, but more that the editor was married to Jordan and seemed unwilling to remove those long, boring, pointless descriptions that dragged on for pages. The Sanderson contributions to the series were slogs at times, but they were very good book - and they held true to Jordan in that they would have benefitted from an editor who was willing to be novel (pun intended) and actually edit.
