Who actually owns the rights to this character. created her?
Just wondering as i remember her being mentioned in Mary's Story. So could the character be used in audio's or other stuff Doctor Who related?

She does turn up in some of the Faction Paradox books from Obverse Books. Which does settle the question of whose character she is.

Thats true. she's so ingrained within the Faction Paradox arc, that it would be difficult/unlikely that she will appear in any other Doctor Who things now.
Shame

Is Lawrence Miles notorious for not being cooperative?

Is Lawrence Miles notorious for not being cooperative? Well, he's notorious in general He's been very unkind about BF even though he did a Benny story. He's slagged the Doctors off as being bad actors taking easy paychecks, absolutely despises Gary Russell (and made sure everyone knew it( and, like Ian Levine, called BF bad fan-fic compared to Faction Paradox which was pushing forward not looking back. Though if you ever read his blog after a Nu-Who ep (especially one by Moffat) you'd think Gary Russell got off lightly. Bitter doesn't even begin to cover it. So...I don't think he gets a Christmas card from Jason or Nick, no. Still - fantastic writer and being a kid of the mid 90s, he was "my" Doctor Who writer in the way that 10 years earlier someone may have had Uncle Terrance.

Is Lawrence Miles notorious for not being cooperative? Let's just say "he invented a huge sweeping storyline, full of amazing ideas and possibilities and exactly at the same time effectively said "and no one else can ever use them"" in Alien Bodies by the simple virtue of setting everything so far in the Doctor's future that he's actually dead

Let's just say "he invented a huge sweeping storyline, full of amazing ideas and possibilities and exactly at the same time effectively said "and no one else can ever use them"" in Alien Bodies by the simple virtue of setting everything so far in the Doctor's future that he's actually dead To be fair (I know, I know, I recognise the irony), Miles has actually done a lot of damn good stories with familiar authors in the Faction Paradox line, so much so that I think it could be the definitive Time War take. His view of the Osirian court is breathtaking in its sense of scale as is his depiction of actual time active warfare in its heyday. What's even more spooky is that if you jump off from Alien Bodies and Interference knowing the wider universe, it fits in rather well with what's come before. The Imperator President is Morbius, the War King is an elder incarnation of the Master who has decided to do what is best for his people, the malakh are kin of the Great Vampire, the Great Houses are the Time Lords, the Prison Planet is Shada, etc. Stunning and truly memorable stuff. Shame about what happens off the page.
