Checking in with the early Doctors with re-listens to Mother Russia, Helicon Prime, and The Mega. To be honest, I had so many distractions during The Mega that I missed some of the most important parts of what was going on and didn't want to keep rewinding to catch them, but it was quite lovely to hear Katy and Richard telling the story nonetheless. I may give it another listen soon.

My first listen to Pathfinder Legends Escape from Old Korvosa - really enjoyed getting back to this series and this story held my attention particularly well despite distractions. A re-listen for In Remembrance from Class Vol 2, it seemed very appropriate after The Split Infinitive, and I much like the way In Remembrance is written. Also gave another listen to Diary of River Song Vol 2. No wonder it made me feel better when I had a bad flu at Christmas the year it came out, it's really really good.

quote of the week "My vengeance will be swift, unexpected and bloody. And...it will involve a spoon." That would be Memories of a Tyrant, if I'm not mistaken you are not mistaken

The Liberator Chronicles, Vol 3, The Armageddon Storm, having a re-listen to this one.
Finished Collision Course (Legacy of Time) with a big grin on my face.
Torchwood: Serenity, also a lot of laughs, though... {Spoiler} Not sure that all the laughs properly lead to that rather dark ending.

Just listened to Companion Chronicles, Solitaire. Eerie, twisty story. Ventriloquist dummy Doctor is both very cute and very creepy 😊💀 Does David Bailie as the Toymaker remind anyone else of Sher Khan from The Jungle Book? I love the stranger more surreal Big Finish stories!😀

My first listen to 'The Time of the Daleks'...will report back later.
Edit: that was a bit strange, but fairly enjoyable with it. I admit to slightly losing the plot somewhere in part 2 when all the shooting starts, but I ploughed on regardless because the acting was good (especially Paul McCann, who played his Doctor full of life) and it was interesting.
Nick Briggs directed in the same style as Sword of Orion..short scene, music, swap characters for another short scene...but I like that and his score was good throughout.
A listenable 6 out of 10, with slick production values.

Haven' been remembering to post so I have listened to a couple of things since the last time.
War Doctor volume 1 proved to be excellent, which I never had any doubts over. Much like Gallifrey, there's something different about it that makes it so difficult to stop listening to.
I decided to try a series outside the Doctor universe and gave The Omega Factor a go. I'm not sure why but I am regularly surprised by the quality of so much of what Big Finish makes. The Omega Factor is very different to what I am used to from them but it's still brilliant. It feels somewhat like the X-Files but leans more heavily on the supernatural side of things. Looking forward to listening to the second series soon.
Just finished listening to Main Range 136: Cobwebs. Not a story I would call unique but I thought it was enjoyable. Will be interesting to see where the rest of the trilogy takes the story.

I love the Omega Factor. One of my favorite non-BF ranges, and I'm so sad that it will no longer be produced as a full cast audio range. I cherish the 3 series we have. Louise and Dorney are wonderful together.

I have been thinking a lot about the Companions Chronicles recently, so I went back to early day. Listening to Mother Russia. I haven't heard this one since the first time about 5 or 6 years ago, and having just seen The Ark with Steven and Dodo, this is much better this time.
