There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I've never understood the hate for The Rings of Akhaten. It's easily the least worst story in Series 7B and probably the least worst story of the whole series. It is telling too much story for one episode and not enough for two, although it could very well benefit from some padding or exposition. I’d’ve maybe preferred one episode on the impossible girl strand and one on the giant star that can communicate at faster than light. I’d also have preferred not to be put through that damned speech. I don’t mind it, it’s just rushed and a bit silly.

It makes an already slower paced Ep stall completely{plus its not very good).
Best Ep of that set? (I've got Strax and The Ice Lord they just want to talk )

What if Stephen Fry’s character is the new head of UNIT and Lenny Henry is the new incarnation of the Master🤔The way Stephen Fry is at that desk and the line he has in the trailer gives me Brigadeer vibes. The chase scene with Lenny Henry shooting a gun out of the limo and 13 and the fam on motorcycles felt very Jon Pertwee and Roger Delgado! It could be an interesting way to pay tribute to the 3rd Doctor’s era😀

If I am right on the latter then hopefully he'll last longer than his predecessors! As for Lenny Henry...I'm almost embarrassed to admit that having watched the trailer a few times I never even twigged it was him until I read your comment...😳😳😳

RTD, Moffat, and Chibnall eras are all equally good in their own ways, and have have an equal number of faults as well. No one era of Doctor Who is better or worse than another. There is no era or Show-runner who ruined Doctor Who. Yes, they each have their own stumbling blocks, but they also have their own style and creative vision as well! They just each have their own different flavor, and that is not a bad thing!

This might be a crazy theory but what if the thing that is coming for 13 is the Cyberman and is actually Susan. That would be an interesting twist to the Timeless Child plot if maybe after the Doctor left Susan she was converted into a Cyberman, and now is out for revenge on her Grandmother/Grandfather for letting her be abandoned and converted. It could also serve as interesting contrast to Bill who didn’t want revenge after being converted, just acceptance as a human.

What if at the end of Hell Bent instead of giving Clara to Me(Ashildr), 12 still had his memory wiped but Clara and him simply had to get to know each other again over time. Since they were both now functionally immortal Clara could be the Doctor’s equal and while she reminded him of their past adventures, he could properly teach her how to do what he does again but this time in a healthier way. 12 and Clara would be essentially married and she could have taught at the university along with 12 all those years. 12 and Clara would be the odd but lovable faculty couple who get invited along to student parties. Maybe Clara would have to wear a perception filter to cover for the fact that she had not aged in over 50 years but they would make it work. Then when 12 tutored Bill Clara would be a mother figure to Bill a long with 12 being Bill’s father figure, with them both teaching and traveling with Bill, Nardole, and eventually Missy.

I have an Idea for what a possible 14th incarnation of the Doctor would be like. What if after the more northern tomboy 13th Doctor, we had a contrasting ultra glamorous witty socialite female Doctor: no matter what the situation would always wear various vintage evening gowns and opera gloves even even and especially while running from Daleks and Cybermen! She would in contrast to the mechanically minded 13 have an obsession with collecting and studying the universe’s rare plants and her TARDIS console room would be designed to look like green house💐🌿 She would also have a love of tea drinking and constantly have elaborate tea parties with both her companions and her enemies 14 would also have an knack for writing bizarre and very alien poetry (as a Douglas Adams nod) that she would recite to distract her enemies. Her accent would be very clipped and RP and she would have a very strange unblinking eyes, and she would have a give tough love to her companions and would costantly be mumming them. This incarnation would be either played by either Jameela Jamil or Keeley Hawes😀

Remembering what the Curator said about him (the Doctor) revisiting a few favorite faces further down the line, I would like to believe that one of those faces was 12 and that the Doctor came back to Clara and they spent her last few years traveling the universe together before she came back to her face the raven death😢❤️❤️

At some point the Doctor will end up back in Pete’s world and have a nice but awkward reunion with Rose, Tentwo, Jackie, and Pete. Rose and Tentwo will reveal to have a rockyat first but still have a good relationship and even have kids. The Doctor would feel conflicted 🤔but happy for the two of them 😊and there would be some threat they have to face😨

12 most definitely visited young David Bowie who then modeled himself on 12, and they almost certainly defeated an alien threat together through the power of music 🎸

I don’t know why but I feel like there should be a future incarnation of the Doctor that exclusively wears pajamas, slippers and a robe sort of as a reference to Arthur Dent but also because I feel like it’s just something that the Doctor would do😄 The only time you would see them in normal clothes would be when they were about to go to sleep 😴 I could see Angus Imrie (young Merlin from the Kid who would be King) play this incarnation😀 On a side note, you can’t tell me that Angus Imrie won’t play the Doctor at some point😀 The way he played young Merlin in that movie I was practically convinced that he was actually a recently regenerated incarnation of the Doctor 🤔Between his bizarre and downright alien behavior wise beyond his years knowledge, and the way the kids of the round table basically became his companions one starts to wonder🤔😄Seriously someone cast him as the 14th or 15th Doctor! Watch these clips and tell me he does not scream the Doctor: youtu.be/-F5LjccYcjYyoutu.be/24k9X0hAfEM

Just not on-screen. Bowie and his band, The Spiders from Mars, mingled with the cast of Planet of the Daleks while it was in production. So, you could say that the Third Doctor and Jo have indeed met him in the past. Albeit, on a technicality.

There is definitely something in his performance. Perhaps one day we'll see the TARDIS key passed to him by his predecessor! 😊

That reminds me, actually. I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this theory before (maybe I have, it's been a while), but based on Ancelyn's immediate recognition of the Doctor in Battlefield, I reckon Merlin is a title held by a small handful of incarnations rather than any one life. I like the idea that Merlin emerged from a Doctor who felt that he'd seen everything in his native N-Space and wanted to travel further abroad. I imagine his visits (and later his stay) in Arthur's dimension will be a fairly long and comprehensive one. They tend to have an odd reputation among other incarnations. Almost like eccentric relatives (i.e. the grandma with the motorcycle).

This is probably terribly controversial (I guess this is the right place for it😄) but I kind of ship Peri and five/Sixie in a platonic asexual romantic way similar to Clara and 11/12. I know it’s frowned upon to ship classic Doctors and companions but I have started to see parallels between these two Doctor/Companion pairings and now I can’t unsee it🤔❤️ Anyone else share my weird ship?
