Avengers: Civil War......sorry, Captain America: Civil War Watching this after seeing Infinity War and Endgame. Its seeded perfectly God I really hate this one. Who needs a well developed main character and an interesting supporting cast when Tony Stank can hog the spotlight and whine about his parents and none of Steve's extremely sensible and completely valid thoughts about why the Sokovia Accords are really bad even get heard out and then they illegally imprison all of the characters on the "wrong side" for opposing legislation that would make the Avengers the (in-universe) corruption-filled UN's smoking gun. This is where the MCU went off the rails with trying to bend to RDJ's diva attitude imo. Well put, the worst MCU movie........but for me black panther and captain marvel come close too.......

Very depressing fifth movie especially when the fourth felt Rambo had found closure & peace by returning home, didn't like this movie one bit, it seems no hope, no happy ending for this character. Rambo 4 was the perfect ending & is my conclusion to this franchise. Yes Rambo 4 gave the character a fitting conclusion. Last Blood was like a Taken movie written by Donald Trump! One of the most unpleasant cinematic experiences I've ever had. Blatant cash cow, shocked at Sly thought he was better than that.

Blatant cash cow, shocked at Sly thought he was better than that. Although for some strange reason I still want a Rambo & Commando team up movie!

Terminator 2: Judgement Day Special Edition A fantastic film and the extra scenes and moments do add to it Ooh, great choice. Love that film, and the special edition/director’s cut/whatever-we’re-calling-it-today makes it even better.

I was lucky I got to physically touch 1 of the Batmobiles back in '2000 when I went on a USA holiday. I saw my chance and I took it LOL

The Amazing Mr Blunden
A stunning film presented by Second Sight in a fantastic bluray package - commentary with cast and Kim Newman, interviews with Mark Gattis, booklet, poster, a reprint of the long OOP source novel, poster - definitive.
It's really the perfect Christmastime film for people who don't want beaten over the head by Christmas. It's wintry but not set at Christmas itself bar the opening scene.
A British classic directed by the great actor-director Lionel Jeffries.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

We went to Toowoomba for my nephew’s wedding a couple months ago and someone was driving the ‘89 Batmobile around (apparently you can rent it!) It was terrific to watch... until it approached a speed bump and had to slow down so it didn’t damage the undercarriage as it went over.

Enter The Dragon, still a kung fu classic, such a shame Bruce Lee died so young we were robbed of a true cinematic icon.

Madigan. Don Seigel's 1968 crime procedural/soap opera with Richard Widmark, Henry Fonda & Inger Stevens. Not Seigel's best film but certainly one of his most influential. Pretty much every Universal produced crime series which followed owes a huge debt to this movie.

I’m on something of a Don Siegel tear at the moment so tonight was his masterpiece, Charley Varrick. Again. For the third or fourth time in the last year. The film is a marvel of economy and structure.
