Just watched Lair of the White Worm, a very fun but not very scary horror comedy, with adorable young kilt wearing and bagpipe playing Peter Capaldi 🥰and equally adorable foppish Hugh Grant🥰It’s campy and silly, with an amazing ear worm (no pun intended) of a theme song: youtu.be/C8n6z-WRCd0Lady Silvia is a really charismatic villain with her snake like movements and witty Oscar Wilde quotes!😀 The chroma key scenes are quite campy and remind me appropriately enough ( for staring both the official 12th Doctor, Capaldi and the curse of the fatal death 12th Doctor Grant) of classic Who 😊 On side note, Peter and Hugh both have gorgeous luscious hair in this, they look like should be in a shampoo commercial together!🥰

Die Hard 2, this i feel gets unfair criticism, i love it, great action sequences & one liners. Yes. I agree this is underrated. In fact I think it's better than the 3rd which is a very poor film. I agree theres to much hand held shaky cam to the third film & there's hardly any impact shots shown during the shootouts, poor fight scene too, can't beat Die Hard 1 & 2 & i actually enjoyed the unrated Die Hard 4.0 but the fifth film is a absolute train wreck & one of the worst action films I've seen.

My advice John McClane stay at home over Christmas buddy.

Doctor Sleep aka The Shining 2: Shine Harder. Rebecca Ferguson is great but it feels like a TV movie.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

But both Doctors are fantastic in this.

I doubt this would ever happen but I would love it if once they get Peter (I hope they do!🤞) to do big finish if they did a story that paid tribute to this movie! If somehow they got Hugh Grant to play a character similar to the one he plays here as a one off companion to 12 and have them fend off vampires together🤣There would need to be a scene where Hugh’s character suggests fending them off with bagpipes but then 12 says an electric guitar is more his style 🎸😉 🤣

Avengers: Civil War......sorry, Captain America: Civil War Watching this after seeing Infinity War and Endgame. Its seeded perfectly God I really hate this one. Who needs a well developed main character and an interesting supporting cast when Tony Stank can hog the spotlight and whine about his parents and none of Steve's extremely sensible and completely valid thoughts about why the Sokovia Accords are really bad even get heard out and then they illegally imprison all of the characters on the "wrong side" for opposing legislation that would make the Avengers the (in-universe) corruption-filled UN's smoking gun. This is where the MCU went off the rails with trying to bend to RDJ's diva attitude imo.

Just finished the latest Rambo - with a couple "running commentaries" sent to my mate Timelord007 as it was happening LOL. Definitely a hard "R" rating for sure. A bit light on plot but.. Sly's scenes talking about "life" etc were the best parts. His character has been through the wars literally.!

Very depressing fifth movie especially when the fourth felt Rambo had found closure & peace by returning home, didn't like this movie one bit, it seems no hope, no happy ending for this character. Rambo 4 was the perfect ending & is my conclusion to this franchise.

Motherless Brooklyn Visually and Musically stunning in places. A passion project for Edward Norton that he'd been trying to get made for 20 years. While i did enjoy it, its way too long. But a great cast

But a great cast I'm looking forward to seeing this. I thought the ads were kind of interesting, but I was really sold on it after hearing Ed Norton on Preet Bharara's podcast, really just gushing about how much he wanted to do the movie and so on.

The fact he waited 20 years to finally get it done shows the love

One of the most unpleasant cinematic experiences I've ever had.
