Been watching Spooks over the last few weeks, currently at Series 7 Episode 4. Even though I still haven't seen The Greater Good yet, I wouldn't mind listening to a BF revival series taking place several years after the film. Perhaps a serialised four-episode boxset would be worth a try?

Hello again.
I watched the first two series of Spooks and enjoyed it. Then children came along! Can recommend The Greater Goid film, even though I'd missed later series of Spooks. I really enjoyed seeing Harry again. It keeps you on the edge of your seat while making you think.
A Spooks Big Finish series would fit as a fine addition to some of their other spy and secret agent series.

The Boys, what a amazing bonkers, gory, chilling, intriguing series, Karl Urban rocks, i binge watched the entire series & in my opinion its a must watch recommends 5/5. Agreed. I was about to post about this wondering why no one here has seen it. It's just amazingly nuts. I also watched the first 3 episodes of Titans. Meh. I'm a huge fan of the Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans and I'm having a hard time with the characterizations here. I've decided that as of now, I'm only watching it as preparation for watching Doom Patrol.

Just had a bit of a binge viewing for the first time in a while - Stranger Things - apart from the magnetism and the camaraderie of the lead performers plot wise this show has so little going for it beyond passing entertainment. I laboured through season 2 and swore I wouldn't do the third season but a few people who didn't enjoy season 2 either recommended it, so I decided to give it a go. It was better but not by much. Poor Will though. I will never stop feeling sorry for Will. Manifest - recommended by a colleague and reminiscent of The 4400. Very entertaining, charismatic leads and lots of interesting twists and turns. I will definitely watch Season Two at some point. The Society - another recommendation - unsure at the beginning but it takes you on a thought provoking journey and does things with it's characters that surprises you but doesn't destroy their credibility for the sake of the plot. And Grizz is lovely!! Chernobyl - I'm up to Episode Four and it's a really shocking, well put together piece of entertainment. Jared Harris is superb, as always. My only gripe is it's a very westernised take on the events. I recently read Chernobyl Prayer and the one thing that is notably missing from the series is the 'Soviet spirit' that permeates that book. Maybe they didn't want to promote too much of the 'all for one' mentality that came with communism, I don't know, but it feels somewhat lacking as a result.

Very rare i binge watch a series but this had me intrigued & didn't disappoint, I'm kinda bored with The Flash, Arrow as they feel very foruma based & generic so i was in two minds about watching another superhero based series. Thankfully The Boy's took the superhero genre in a bold, fresh direction there was a few gross out moments but the story arc, characters & plot twists were all excellent. I can't wait for season 2. I did enjoy most of Titans but it's nowhere near on par with The Boy's.

Finished Legion.
I'll say it over and over, damn I love this show. So sorry to see it go. Ad if you haven't seen it and want me to describe it for you, I just can't. It's indescribable.

Finally caught up on Years and Years.
RTD is firing on all cylinders here; superb character work and a proper statement on political affairs that should be heard far and wide. I remember reading his idea of ‘modern Britain going to hell’ back in The Writer’s Tale: The Final Chapter and he certainly realised its potential. Amidst all the bleakness, and there is a lot of that, there’s some nice moments of hope and levity. It’s very well balanced.

Rod Serling's Night Gallery - Season 2, Episodes 6-8.
Some good segments here: Leslie Nielsen vs a haunted house, Nazis vs vampires, people with deja vu stuck in an endless night, and a skeptical professor mocking Lovecraftian gods.
It's an odd show.

House of Cards (1990 British version)
Ian Richardson’s performance dominates this perversely enjoyable ruthless rise to power, akin to a Shakespearean tragedy. A very nihilistic view of politics, presented here as rotten to the core.

Columbo: "Suitable for Framing" - An absolutely incredible episode and probably the best "gotcha" I've ever seen from this series. I haven't seen Columbo in years, and never everything in order. I'm loving my revisit.
Night Gallery: Season 2, Episode 10 - An American couple rent an English house with a Ghost, yet another silly Dracula skit (why, Rod?), an Old West snake oil man gets his comeuppance, and a rock n' roll hippie dude is sent to Hell. Average episode, no real standout.

Santa Clarita Diet. A comedy horror about an undead, cannibal realter and her family trying to manage the little ups and downs that come with her unexpected lifestyle change. It's uproarously funny, I'm really enjoying it.

Cells at Work. Interesting Anime that follows a bumbling Red Blood Cell, as she and he fellow cells deal with various disasters that afflict their world, such as abrasions, virus outbreaks, and the dreaded hay-fever of yore. Was pretty cool and funny. Learned a few things about the body I never knew. Plus is has a really catchy intro.
Jackie Chan Adventures. Started rewatching this with my brother. It's such a blast of a show. It recreates Jackie's signature slapstick action style, and throws into some cool demons and magic to boot. And it's got a really funny cast of heroes and villains.

So I'm still watching Titans. God knows why. I watch it, I see a scene I hate, I say aloud to no one "I hate this show", and then I continue to watch it.
It has some good things about it, and if I wasn't such a big fan of the comic I would probably like it a lot more. I just keep hoping that by the end of the first season I see SOMETHING in these characters that made me fall in love them in the first place, all those years ago.

watching umbrella (ella ella) academy
just over half way through now, I am liking it just not sure I am loving it...… weird timeline and non linear telling is probably the reason and the fact we have talking monkeys, androids and unexplained super powers we just have to go with all a bit strange.
hoping things get explained by episode 10 and stops feeling like an adult version of the Incredibles
any one else seen it.
but have to say liking it way more than stranger things 3, that was a stretch too far for me with massive underground complex that no one even knew was being built by overseas powers. fun but bit of a silly pointless storyline spoilt it for me. oh and a rubbish monster
