Tell us something special about your town, or surrounding area. Something you think is interesting.
Bulls Gap, Tennessee is the only place a full sized train can turn around in all of upper East Tennessee. It is a town that lived and died with trains. An excursion from Roanoke comes to town once a year, and hundreds of folks show up, just to see the old steam engine, and the classic train cars, turn around. The ride from Roanoke takes about 5 hours, one way.

The sun is literally trying to murder us and it's where Sa Yy Findecker dumped all his bodies in his Zygma beam experiments for Magnus Greel.

Bulls Gap was also blown up by Dan Slott, when he was working on Avengers: The Initiative. It first appeared in issue 10 and was blown up in issue 13. Iron Man was here. But, I cant find the hole that was left, and believe me, ive looked.

Hello again. Where I live they have a yearly Cornish pasty festival which has had visitors from Mexico which has links to Cornwall and tin-mining and where there is also a Mexican pasty festival.
Last year on the High Street they made, cooked and distributed portions of gigantic pasty.

I live in Sunny Scarborough and it's a popular attraction for celebrities. Many famous stars come here and publically name it 'Scarbados' on our local radio stations.

Half an hour away from me, Savannah, GA is the only city that wasn't burned in the Civil War.

Half an hour away from me, Savannah, GA is the only city that wasn't burned in the Civil War. ah, General Sherman, what a humanitarian I've been to Savannah many times back in the 90's, I would pick up a load of sugar and take it north, some of the best looking palm trees ive ever seen. If I ever moved to a big city, Savannah would be at the top of my list.

London...ah, far too much stuff really, far too much. How about something about your neighborhood then, or just your block, even a small area, has a tale to tell. Just a block from me is Archie Campbell's home he grew up in. Just a minor celebrity from a country television show, but a very funny man, who came from right here.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Perth: named the City Of Lights by John Glenn when he flew over it. The mayor of Perth got everyone to turn their lights on so he could see them. It also helped that it's the most-isolated state capital in the world. It's the home of Heath Ledger (RIP) and Tim Minchin. It is also the least historically-minded city I've ever been to: I once looked up some historical sites I could take my class to and found that you could do a walking tour of all the historical buildings in a lunch break as many of them were torn down during the 70s and 80s when Western Australia began to boom.

The town I grew up in was Mohawk, Tennessee.
Just across the county line from Bulls Gap, a very rural town, made up of aprox. 50 square miles, with a population of less than 25 per square mile back in the 70's.
In the 60's and early 70's, Sam Riley Chevrolet sold more new Chevrolet cars than any other dealership in the country.
During the Civil War, the railroad bridge was destroyed by the infamous bridge burners, several of which, were tried and hung and are now buried in what is now Mosheim, TN, but was then still part of Mohawk.

We have the oldest still in use as a classroom schoolroom in Queensland, the school is nearly 130 years old. I actually attended lessons in the room. In fact, I've actually TAUGHT in that room.
