Great stuff in this sale. I grabbed the Early Adventures series 1 & 2 as I've been waiting for an Early Adventures sale to dip into that range. Also picked up Spare Parts on download. I only have the CD and at such a low price it was an easy decision as I like to have the downloads whenever possible even thought I'm a CD guy.

Looks like I'm getting The Unbound Universe.

I nearly bought War Doctor vol. 1 three days ago but stopped because I was too lazy to search for my card. Luck favours the indolent! And since I'm overdue for birthday presents, I thought I might get started on Dark Eyes.
Is Dark Eyes fine and spoiler safe for someone who hasn't listened past Charley's departure? I know there's a lot of things that happened to Eight from then till now.

That is a pretty huge sale. And I'm sorry but as always the question must be asked, why no Peri in the 6th Doctor's final adventures box set? Anyway, some great stuff in there.

I know there's a lot of things that happened to Eight from then till now. There are some big spoilers in Dark Eyes that discuss the end of the Eighth Doctor Adventures range with Lucie Miller. However, I listened to Dark Eyes first and I personally didn't find what was spoiled to be 'ruined' when I did get around to listening to it - on the contrary, knowing what was going to happen kind of made it worse (though that all depends on your spoiler sensitivities)! Hope that helps

It does, thanks! I might just go for the EDAs (another dripping hole in my bank account) since I know very little of the ending other than Bad Things happen and I'm pretty good at deluding myself when it comes to endings. (Case in point, in the week from the trailer for World Enough and Time to its airing, I managed to forget I'd seen you-know-who and was thus genuinely astonished when they showed up in the episode.) Oonnn the other hand, almost half price...! Argh.

I know there's a lot of things that happened to Eight from then till now. You can always buy it on sale and save it for later, after you're caught up with all the Eighth Doctor's stories. That's what I'd do, cause I hate spoilers. I remember being annoyed on one of the later stories, cause the behind the scenes gave away something that had happened in an earlier Eight Doctor story I hadn't listened to yet.

I put my Q on your dash, then hop on one leg singing the K9 and Company theme song.

That was the only let down of the set. I get that they wanted post-Trial companions as they were meeting The Valeyard but still she is his defining companion and it could easily have been worked so they don't realise they meet The Valeyard.

Wow that's a big sale.
Tempted to get PHP and maybe an early adventure or an unbound, or maybe both...

Wow that's a big sale. Tempted to get PHP and maybe an early adventure or an unbound, or maybe both... Highly recommend PHP... 'The Sontarans' is one of the best of the EAs and if like me you are a big fan of the historicals then 'The Ravelli Conspiracy' ties with it. 'Sympathy For The Devil' is an Unbound story everyone should hear. I've only just started going through them and the first three are all jaw-dropping (in a good way) but that would probably be the general favourite.

I can't remember specifically, but I think this may be the release where I listened to it before I listened to all of the Eighth Doctor Adventures and encountered a spoiler I'd rather not have known in advance about the Eighth Doctor and Lucy.

So I'm thinking of using this sale to fill in the series 1 and 2 Early Adventures and the Doctor Who Unbound stories I don't already own. I've gotten some of the most recommended stories in both ranges, any stories that people felt were totally not worth it?
I'm on the fence about whether to get the Third Doctor Volume 1. So far I haven't dipped into that range at all. What did people think of Volume 1?

Third Doc Vol 1 is worth a listen Vol 2 was better though IMO

I thought volume 1 was great, the narration is fairly sparse but didn't bother me & Tim does a great job as the 3rd Doctor. Vol 2 is even better. Worth a go at the sale price for vol 1.

Too late regarding Unbound Exile. Already own it, though I haven't listened to it yet, I admit.
