I've already got the Avram Davidson Treasury, but "Skinny" is so good that it's astonishing it didn't get published till now link

Thanks to @davygallagher mini unboxing I succumbed to temptation & purchased Enter The Video Store - Empire Of Screams box set.
I enjoy Davys You Tube channel even though I usually end up spending my Charlie Windsors.

Impulse-bought the new Final Fantasy, 'cause I wanted to make sure I got the steelbook.
I, uh... do not own a PS5.

The collectors box of the Manga "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds".
I have started watching the movie and fell in love with the world and the art, and this has amazing reviews, so I think I will enjoy this.

A lot of Charles Bronson movies on Blu Ray. Oh he was the real deal - no acting required . The stories Kurt Russell told about him, he was a child actor he did a Western with him. Appointments and closed doors meant nothing to Charles- Being a CEO of the movie studio held no fear for him- straight in - made him hang up his phone and told him what's what point blank.

A very underrated actor, Mr. Majestyk is one of my favourites movies of his.

Bought tickets today for the Nazareth concert on the 30th of November. I have never been into this band. However, I found out by accident, when telling dad a few weeks back which bands were on at the event venue of my home town, that my dad was a Nazareth fan in his youth. So I bought tickets for the both of us. Will be his birthday present. And I will learn a bit more about "classical" rock music. Widen my horizon and all that.

One of the best Scottish bands of them all. Check out the self titled debut, Razamanaz and Hair Of The Dog for their peak. Their frontman and leader, Dan McCafferty, retired a good few years ago and passed away last year. Not anywhere near the same without him but still solid.

I did read up on them and I just now actually bought their collected single album, for my iPod, so I can actually get a feel for their music before the concert.
I hope this will make dad happy and I also will get to know something new.
I also hope they do a great live show.

Just spend too much money on Amazon... My beloved 10 year old Kindle sadly gave up the battery ghost, and only holds charge for a couple of hours. No good. So I bit the bullet and ordered a new Kindle. Which I think is justifiable since I read A LOT and the old one lasted 10 years, so the time had come. And then I discovered there was a whole bunch of sci-fi comics that triggered my interest- - Doctor Who comics "Once upon a Timelord" - Doctor Who comics the two Doom's Day featuring Missy - Star Trek Definant - Star Trek Day of Blood
Some weekend entertainment!

I'd say between that and Before The Sunset, those are better Bond performances than some of his actual 007 stuff. Even bits of The Matador. They've just announced some belters for Q1 of 2024 including 4Ks of two of my top 5 horrors - Blood On Satan's Claw and Witchfinder General. Then Inspector Wears Skirts 2, So Close, Franco's Count Dracula 4K, A Blade In The Dark 4K, Amityville Horror 4K, Beauty Of Beauties, Gold with Roger Moore, Street Law with Franco Nero, Evil Dead Trap 1 and 2, Tokyo Decadence, Night Of The Comet, Mosquito Squadron (RIP David McCallum).........that'll do. Eureka also announced Paths Of Glory 4K, Slaughter In San Francisco (Lo Wei directing Chuck Norris when he was still a legit martial artist), and Yakuza Wolf 1 and 2 with Sonny Chiba. UNREAL stuff. Genre film has never been better served.

One of these British classics gives us Vincent Price, The Saint and Steptoe ... the other, Linda Hayden! Great stuff.

How do you not mention our show's very own Wendy Padbury and Anthony Ainley and Simon Williams from Counter Measures? Not to mention Patrick Wymark's last role, and James Hayter before he became Mr Kipling!
