Interesting survey from the BBC's research wing about "re-imagining" The questions after that include "Are there any events in history that you would like to see a Doctor Who adventure based around that hasn’t already been featured?", "Are there any un-filmed or un-produced scripts from previous series of Doctor Who (excluding series 11 with Jodie Whittaker) that you would like to see brought to life in a different way (eg. through books, magazines, gaming, events etc).", "Are there any moments from these previous series of Doctor Who (excluding series 11) that left you wanting to know more or what happened next?" "Are there any moments from these previous series of Doctor Who (excluding series 11) that left you thinking “what if that had happened?” that you would like to see brought to life in a different way? (eg. through books, magazines, gaming, events etc). For example “What would happen if Rose Tyler didn’t get lost in another dimension?”", "Which of the following Doctors would you most like to see more adventures of?", I gave a few ideas and asked for more eighth Doctor. It was a very wide set of questions. My guess is info to plan more animations

No, it was encouraging answers from 1963 on, with zero differentiation between the old and new series - basically everything up until Twice Upon A Time.

Cheers for sharing that - but, good grief! Doctor Who fans 'furious' and 'outraged' (has the researcher seen *other* Doctor Who forums?). About being asked what they would like to see in Doctor Who? Because they are asked to volunteer opinions for free?
Astonishing.

Translation for non-Mirror readers (aka reality): nobody who really matters is actually angry and the Mirror are just looking for them clicks, thinking people will be duped into thinking this is related to S12.

It's funny; I would have thought that they might ease up on the secrecy a bit this year to keep the series in people's minds, even if it was just announcing a guest start or two but we still remain mostly in the dark.
Two recent rumours that will probably turn out to be rubbish: there's an historical episode with Florence Nightingale and there'll be a musical episode. The first is believable but easy to make up based on previous types of story. The second... well we know Bradders can sing, what about the rest of them?

When a New Series monster is classified as an "old monster", my knee-jerk reaction is to say "Of course they aren't, they're from the New Series!!!" Then I look at the fact that the Judoon were introduced over 12 years ago... Yeah, no, they are "old monsters" now. I'm feeling old

I'm feeling old The Daleks were only eleven years old in Genesis, the Cybermen only nine years old in Revenge...
