UK prices seem to have dropped a penny - legacy of time UK cd down from £45 to £44.99 - and the same for a couple of others I checked Yayyy! Some discounts to celebrate the new website. Don't knock it. The average member here will probably save quite a few pennies over the course of a year. Seriously though, not competing to find something they haven't thought of including, or a gripe no-one else has yet to pick, but: 1: Would have liked to filter purchases to show only those not yet downloaded 2: Would like to filter purchase history by format, as I have missed some MR offers on CD as I did not realise I only had them as DL (Plague of the Daleks most recent, now the only CD missing between 50-150). 3: The lack of pages means the Main Range is easier to scroll on **********, like I just did for 2, above, check the numbers. 4: It would be nice if the 'you've got this!' told you which format (CD, DL) you bought it in. 5: The big issue for me as with others is that the Main Range page takes way too long to load the tiles as you scroll for where you want to browse. When you click to expand, then go back, it takes me back to the top and the process of loading, scrolling begins again. 6: A good old fashioned option to view as a list (smaller icons) makes scrolling on one page easier - if it ain't broke.. 7: I would be nice to filter out those you already have so as to pick out gaps in the collection. On a positive side, none of the above are beyond being a case of adding a few database filters to the front end, which looks good and is a lot more user friendly and fun to navigate, especially with touch screen. For example, the Release Format/Refine format, only has the one option 'Audiobook' at present. It seems pretty redundant unless they are anticipating adding filter options. Just realised that we are all acting as (free) Beta testers here ....

Big Finish probably don't want to be viewed as cloud storage for people's purchases indefinitely; so buy them, download them, then back them up. People expecting their downloads to be held forever by Big Finish is unrealistic. Licences do - and will - change over time. They're your purchases so best practice is to save them at your end... just in case. See, this is what I expect from BF, same as I do for audible and other audios I buy. Maybe I’m naive, but I don’t use a pc anymore, and working with files on a hard drive to load on and off a phone with iTunes is a massive nightmare. The app keeps me sane. Frankly if it weren’t for the app, I wouldn’t still purchase in the manner I do. Not a BF issue to be sure, but how else do y’all handle download purchases? My Mac is horribly slow, and I would never buy a new laptop solely to store these. I can get all my computing needs accomplished via an iPad and phone. Anyone else have a solution that works? I do worry that if BF shuts its doors I’m out all these audios, although I rarely relisten to these, yet I don’t want to lose anything. But honestly a way to dump these to a different cloud storage via an an iPhone or iPad is the problem. Apologies if this is off topic. There are better options than using itunes........I load my files using FileExplorer and play via mp3books......never use iTunes......and although I do use the big finish app......much of my stuff is before the free download so need alternative for older stuff...... all done wirelessly and without ever ever needing iTunes

I would have liked the sort by companions option to stay in the Monthly Range (not the main range anymore), other than that I really like the new layout. It's much better for mobile.
Although news could be more prominent.

I logged on my desktop and the site remembered by username and password. No problems with either the site or the listening app on my iPhone XR.

I should look for an alternative for sure. Also what I wrote came across a tad strong. I don’t mean I EXPECT BF to be my cloud storage, I just want them to be, like audible is. Something to ponder for sure!

At least I can save it to the wishlist next time I get it figured out, but it would still be nice if the balloon that shows that you already purchased something showed up in "What's New" since that's where I go to check and see if I forgot to pre-order something. (At least one person suggested this previously and I'm surprised to think they weren't taken up on it).
Still having to basically do it from memory. Maybe it's actually in there somewhere, but if not it would be nice to be able to filter to show just things that I haven't bought yet. Also if the wishlist would show the release dates.
Just trying to figure out what I haven't yet ordered that's scheduled for release this year and which ones are coming out soonest so I can prioritize them. I wish that had gotten easier, seems important.

It would appear that this is something of a shift in policy for them as far as cloud storage of their titles are concerned.

Re the app problems I messaged Big Finish through Facebook. They said the developer is looking into the syncing problems. So hopefully it may be working soon. I suggested they post a news update for customers who’re affected, and they said they plan to soon.

Hmm I guess I should probably seriously look into how to store downloads then. My laptop is ancient and I suspect nearing its last legs (it’s about 9 years old, I will be surprised if it makes it to 10) so putting them on there is a bit pointless long term. I guess a large enough memory stick could probably fit everything I own.

For about the price of several boxsets, you should be able to get enough storage to backup virtually everything and then some.

It would appear that this is something of a shift in policy for them as far as cloud storage of their titles are concerned. I suspect that it's just a pre-emptive "sorry, but we warned you", in case they have licensing issues in the future that prevent them hosting some item or other they can no longer sell. It is genuinely a complete coincidence that I completed my "download and backup all my Big Finish" project the day before their page update... Of course, now I need a second copy of my backup drive stored outside the house.

It would appear that this is something of a shift in policy for them as far as cloud storage of their titles are concerned. IIRC they did mention something about this a few years ago, which got a few comments at the time. I don't think Big Finish are going to delete anybody's stuff for the sake of it, I think it's more about if they lose the licence to produce something and the rights holder refuses to let BF keep the audios on it's servers for distribution... and Big Finish have more licenced properties now than they ever had. Which might explain why it could become more of an issue going forward as not every licence will last forever, so forewarned is forearmed!

I've also noticed that when attempting to purchase the book club release of the month it goes to my basket as 12.99 and not the 2.99 it should be.

I store all my releases on a backup drive. That's why I loved buying the CD's ... they were my backups!
