It has been set for a phased release for the next 7 days. (For iOS)
If you want the update immediately check the store for the update, otherwise it might be a week before you get it.

Think I've suggested this before, but any possibility of making the back and forward buttons configurable? It's rare that I manage more than a few minutes of listening without having to rewind to hear a line again that I didn't catch first time around. Sometimes it takes a few goes to work out what was said. Going back 30 seconds each time means on a typical hour long walk with my dog I only get through around 45 mins of a story.
If there was a user preference to set it to 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds I'd go with 5 and hopefully not waste as much time hearing 25 seconds of a story that I did hear fine to get to the line I didn't.

Also, thanks for the latest update. Story descriptions and cast lists are back!! No more having to wait whilst out walking and listening till I have a phone signal again to be able to access the BF site to see why Security Guard #3's voice sounds familiar.

Agreed And we all know John Dorney is the third Naxian from the left.

If you’re on iOS 9, hold off on the update. If you already updated and you have iOS 9, don’t delete the app. It won’t help.
I just paused the rollout until I fix it.

I'm on iOS 9, but I haven't experienced any problems with the app, should I? Sounds fishy to me. But if it's working, keep on going like nothing is wrong! In the meantime. I have fixed the issue, it is just waiting for Apple to approve the update. If you have already installed this update on iOS 9 and it crashes, just wait until the update comes out. If you delete the app trying to fix it, you will simply lose your data. The update will fix everything

Glad to hear that you fixed the issue though.

Loving the new update to the app! Just a quick question, and I apologise if it's already been asked, but would there be a possibility of being able to download an individual story from a boxset instead of downloading the whole thing? Sometimes I get the urge just to listen to a certain story as opposed to the whole set.

Sorry, they’re provided as zip files just like the website. So I don’t really have control over that.

Hi hackmodford,
Just wondered if I could request a couple of additions to the app:
(i) Once I have heard a download the ability to flag it as ‘finished’ so I can keep track on what I have/haven’t listened too. Audible’s Android app player has this function and I find it particularly useful
(ii) A total showing the overall number of hours I currently have downloaded onto the app
Not sure how easy/hard, or whether others also would also find this useful, but thought I'd ask.
Thanks, N

I downloaded the latest update (2.2.1) from the App store but the version still says 2.1.1 post update. So I guess I'm still on the old version even after updating. Not sure why this is happening I'm on iOS 11 - iPhone 6S

If you tap a box set do you get the new details view with the story synopsis?

I did some trial and error and this is what’s happening - I deleted the app on my iPad also on iOS 11 and installed it again. It properly moves to the new version and I get the new features. I can’t do that on my phone as I have loads of audiobooks downloaded.

Were you ever set up with the beta version? Like a long time ago?
