Are these better listened to in release order or chronological order (from the Doctor's point of view)? Does it matter either way?

I think release order is far better, actually. {Spoiler} Things from The Battle of Giant's Causeway are referred to in The Children of the Future, and likewise Charley's point of view is important in Born to Die.

Really, it's only the choice between 1,2,3,4 and 2,3,1,4 and either way would be good. Release order gives us a very few links between stories which we can then say 'ahh!' when we recognise them, but in Doctor order would be interesting too. And would then be out of order for Charley, which would in itself make for an interesting listen. Wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey. As BF fans I'm sure we can cope with unexpected timelines.

It took me A LOT longer than it should have to remember when Charley met Sontarans and Rutans pr3viously to this story.

Hopefully the people against recasts who have been in on this range will now realise just how good Carley is. He sounds just like Hurt but also nails the acting. Its not Culshaw where he sounds like what he is - a wonderful mimmick but who cant act.
