Finished and absolutely loved Ravenous 4 twice yesterday and today.
will return to it tomorrow but back to my other audio epic Ticonderoga (NON BF) But awesome all the same and no a time traveller or Tardis in sight but hey no reason we can’t get more Doctors visiting American History NOn Gunfighters style lol

Finished Ravenous 4 yesterday, I'm currently listening to the first Flip trilogy for the first time. The Curse of Davros was a really good introduction and the Fourth Wall may be even better!

Did something I almost never do anymore and binged an entire box set today. That would be Ravenous 4.

The Dark Flame
I wanted to like this more than I did. The plot sounds just right for Who - ancient cult, evil rising, mind control, etc. But I found it much of it rather repetitive (literally - the dialogue tells us the same things about the planet/situation multiple times) and thought that apart from one memorable scene the story was a waste of Benny.
On the plus side, Ace/McShane/Dorothy (whatever, she's Ace imo and that's that!) has a very good story, it's all very well performed and the sound design is excellent. I'll probably remember it most for two entertaining though relatively minor characters - Joseph the quirky android and Broke the brutal 'butler'.

Year of the Drex Olympics
I love that Doctor Who is constructed in such a way that this story can exist.
I assume that you can find stories of this type in any fandom of sufficient size, but I do think the structure of our fandom is well-suited to answering this kind of Where did they find this item?/When did they learn this skill? questions that only the most invested fans would think to ask.
It's brisk and fun and makes good use of the medium.

This story does my nut in, so much to like.. but stop telling us the same thing over and over again!

Scaredy Cat. I listened to this at work and couldn't quite follow what was going on. But I'm sure there is a story in there somewhere, need to listen again.

You go what was that one about again.I am Glad to say very few have that effect of a complete blank. Like all good episodes of the TV show you should hear the title and go oh thats the one with this or that.

A re-listen for Ravenous 3. I mainly wanted to hear Companion Piece again but ended up enjoying the whole set, and even more than last time.

Finished Ravenous- Planet of Dust. I liked it. This is shaping up to be nearly as good as the last volume if it continues along these lines.

8DA-The Natural History Of Fear-John Mortimore
its a day of chores in the morning and fish suppers in the evening for the parents. This is a tale always great to revisit one of McGanns best and i do mean for me it’s above Chimes
i always used to think the background voices were a fault with the recording 😂
