Just look at the GORGEOUS cover, though. (it is exactly as silly as the cover promises. No false advertising there)
Noooooooooooooooo I gave you Green Life lol its enough lol As I said, it is not a story for every day... just something to listen to when you are in a silly mood. You cannot take it seriously. For that, sofas are mentioned at least 20 times too often. For example.

I find the kind of macabre fun side of me listens to The Magic Mousetrap that just makes me smile every time i hear it some of the one liners are brilliant

Right. Today, I have a whole day just for myself. It is still pretty foggy out there (living in a river valley) but the forecast has promised 20 degrees and another brilliant sunny day, before the winter starts next week. So there will be a lot enjoying the sunshine on the balcony for me. Plus a scheduled BF binge... I still have a bit of a backlog, and having two UNIT sets and the Dorian Gray stories I bought on special recently. However... I think I will do a re-listen to the amazing Ravenous 4 in one go. And of course I have been looking forward to listening to Torchwood Smashed all week. Great.

A cold morning here MR-25-COLDITZ-Steve Lyonsa wee bit of Klein Great story this one. A very strong year 2001 if I recall - the launch of 'new' Who with the 8th Doctor joining the MR, then Loups Garoux, Bloodtide, Project: Twilight, Eye of the Scorpion, Colditz (and the one Doctor). Only a couple of releases being below par - Minuet in Hell the most notable.

I like Colditz but I do enjoy Klein ( well Klein when she is the thinker ,the doer and almost equal to the Doctors deviousness not when she become standard companion fare)

Just finished listening to Mask of Tragedy.
Whilst I thought Revenge of the Swarm was rather dull and am not a big fan of Hector (can't really see why they went for that approach), I did enjoy this one. Being a Classicist, I love the way this uses elements of Greek Comedy/Theatre/Culture to structure the plot - surreal, bonkers and good fun, with a rather serious undertone at the end (as always). McCoy seems to enjoy this and Aldred has some good material (Ace v Spartan Women is a particular highlight). Samuel West shines as Aristophanes and clearly is loving the part and takes it for what it is - a pantomime.
Strangely, thought Olivier came across rather weakly here. His 'Hector' doesn't fit and his Dionysus just doesn't work, sadly. He has a good end scene with McCoy though, that does set up well for the next story.
Had I not been a Classicist, I am not sure I would have got all the in-jokes and structure, which could leave this as a bit of a misfire. Experimental, but probably overlooked.

It always gets to me that BF sell these so cheaply when they cost so much on Ebay and Amazon they really need to promote some stuff as classics and not sell them off as if they are not worth 14.99

I like Colditz but I do enjoy Klein ( well Klein when she is the thinker ,the doer and almost equal to the Doctors deviousness not when she become standard companion fare) Nah, I have come to like the Torchwood comedy releases (even if I know next to nothing about the characters). And I am curious how much drunk acting has improved after the, let's call it "Exile" incident. The story sounds interesting.
And I am just in that type of mood.
And 5 hours of BF... that is basically my capacity for sitting still in one day completely covered.
Colditz is alright... Tennant's character makes me feel uncomfortable And Nazi Klein is the best. I really hope they would do a longer version of Klein's story, beginning with 7 being gunned down and 8 crawling out of harms way and planning and executing his come-back.

there is still room for Klein as Unit :Dominion proved I think they veered a little off course with Persuasion etc. Its worth keeping her with 7 though I wouldnât like her to jump Doctors though Klein and the current eight Doctor Tardis team would be of interest to me WHY DOES Tennant make you uncomfortable in this?

Am half way through Signs and Wonders. I quite like the 'end of the world vibe' and the first episode builds up quite well. The idea of a messianic figure attracting the faithful, whilst not novel, is quite apt and the moment. Ironically, as Steve Lyons has been referenced recently, the story is similar to his First Doctor Novel - Salvation. Also got hints of the Inspector Morse Episode 'Cherubim and Zerephin'. Some lighter moments so far - The Seventh Doctor parachuting down on an umbrella is quite a nice one to visualise. Not as good though as Mask of Tragedy - sadly, there is a lot of 'talking description' (come on BF - you're better than that!) and shoutyness.

Am due a relisten to it as I do like the TARDIS team and distance between original releases is a good thing as the hype and expectation goes same with the Fiesta Of theDamned trilogy I appreciated afterwards not when releases Thatâs why I took a break from main range just now
