Preparing for the Sixth Doctor and Peri box set in August, listening to Peri and the Piscon Paradox at the moment. Probably my favorite Peri episode, period.

UNIT 2: Shutdown I'm so pleased that I came in late to the UNIT range because I think these early ones (which are my last new ones) are the best! Another four CD epic like Vol 1, and even more globetrotting and action-packed than the first one. I think the Andrew Smith episodes are my favourites, but the whole arc is a great story. And I love that theme... ..- -. .. -

Hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time, this is where I fell in love with Nicola Bryant as an actress. That, or The Reaping.

TW : Dinner and a Show
This lighter-style ( and a bit grisly!) TW hits all the right notes, in the right order. If you enjoyed 'The Last Beacon' as I did, this is a fun 'second act' by Gareth David-Lloyd. Encore!

The Graveyard Book (Neil Gaiman)
A full cast Audible production starring the likes of Sir Derek Jacobi, Miriam Margolyes and Julian Rhind-Tutt.
Remember really enjoying it when I first listened to it. At eight hours though, I think I will be at this one for a while.

Ooo I just read the book, that audio drama sounds amazing!😊 It’s very enjoyable. I’d love to see ‘Coraline’ adapted into an audio drama myself but due to how the main character in that spends most of the time by herself it would probably work best as an audiobook.

Finished the Captain Scarlet 50th set, which I’ve been working through on and off past few months. The episodes chosen do a pretty decent job of representing the show and work well on audio. The documentary was neat, especially incorporating older interviews.
Also listened to the newsletter freebie of the first episode of Time Apart. A really good two-hander, with a strong role for the Fifth Doctor.

Revisiting Missy Series 1. A Spoonful of Mayhem and Divorced, Beheaded, Regenerated are just such fun. Given how many Master stories aim for being dark and meaningful, it’s really refreshing to have a series going for a more irreverent, fun tone.

Just listened to Ghost Station, the freebie from Time Apart, with a big hot mug of Yorkshire’s finest. Lovely little two hander and a great platform for the Doctor.

EDIT: Just spotted 'station' ... 'platform' I'm running behind schedule today to have missed the arrival of a pun!

An update re The Time of the Daleks...this was my second listen and I really enjoyed it. The sound design is excellent and McGann is fantastic throughout.
