The Great White Hurricane (Guy Adams)
Not the greatest Hartnell historical Big Finish have ever produced (I certainly think the likes of The Doctor’s Tale are leagues above this one) but I think it’s a great showcase of the direction of the range and what it has to offer.

WODW 1.2 The Reesinger Process - probably the best single Counter Measures story outside of the box sets.

Memories of a Tyrant (Roland Moore)
Probably one of my favourite Sixth Doctor stories in recent years. Excellent stuff.

4DA The Dalek Protocol
This is as far as I'm going into 'The Dalek Universe' for the moment (oh that backlog!) but it's nicely standalone if you want to treat it as that.
A sequel to 'Death to the Daleks' is right up my street and Nick Briggs and the sound designers have ticked about every nostalgia box that was tickable! It's an entertaining and neatly-plotted story in its own right with good twists - and when you've seen Exxilon by night (*waves sheets, makes scratchy-comb-music sound*) and travelled with the Third Doctor and Bellal through the depths of the City as often as I have, it's a winner!

Aftermath (Joseph Lidster)
A very thoughtful look on how the Tomorrow People view death and grieve. Reminded me a lot of the excellent The Night Whispers from the Dark Shadows range in parts as well.

Taking a little bit of a Who break today with The Omega Factor: Spider's Web. I don't usually enjoy audiobooks, but I miss the hell out of the proper Omega Factor range and Louise Jameson is a solid audiobook reader. I'm a few chapters in and it's okay so far. Finished this overnight and earlier this morning. It's good, I liked it. But ultimately it just left me sad that there's no more full cast Omega Factor coming.

The Green Life (David Llewelyn)
Have to say, I never thought Captain Jack and Jo Grant (Sorry.. Jones) would make such an effective pairing but they really do. And it doesn’t just repeat The Green Death which is always appreciated.

The Death Mask and The House of Despair.
I've had an itch some seriously spooky stuff lately... hm... got a couple of Dark Adventures Radio Theatre stories I haven't listened to yet - I might give one of them a listen this evening.

Spiritus Mundi (Craig Hinton)
Superb stuff. You know, had the range continued past its unfortunate cancellation this is the sort of direction I would have liked. Exploring the various factions of Tomorrow People off world as well as the adventures of the Nick’s gang on Earth.

Given that it placed so high in the poll, I decided to give The Lady of Mercia a revisit since I couldn’t really remember it too well. Not sure why it didn’t make more of an impression on me the first time around because it’s a really solid story, especially for Tegan.

I've been bingeing my way through all the Iris Wildthyme stories over the past several days. Silliest funniest (and most fun) bunch of nonsense I've heard in a while.
Iris and Panda are hilarious.
