Cry of the Vultriss (Darren Jones)
Always nice when we get to go to these truly alien worlds.

The new Torchwood and the first two stories from Avalon 2. Still rather enjoying the Avalon stories but Colin as Bayban was particularly enjoyable. I don't know if I liked everything that happened in the Torchwood story, but I thought most of it was as outstanding as the last story with Suze. Yvonne has quite a way of getting her way, lol.

Today I smashed through 8th Doctor Series 4 "The Book Of Kells" "Deimos" and "The Resurrection of Mars". "Relative Dimensions" is loaded up maybe to start tonight, if not then definitely lunchtime tomorrow.

The Mahogany Murderers (Andy Lane)
A terrific pilot to what would prove to be one of Big Finish’s best ranges.

The Secret History (Eddie Robson)
Definitely the best story out of the Locum Doctors trilogy. And am I the only one who wouldn’t have minded seeing the Fifth Doctor travel with Steven and Vicki for a few stories more?

MR: Serpent in the Silver Mask
I had forgot just how enjoyable this story is. The plot is pretty good, but Samuel West as the various Mazzini's is just outstanding...and very funny indeed. Peter Davison is just amazing and I've really started to appreciate how versatile he can be, and his chats to his robotic mate (Bernard) are hilarious.

I am up to S04E09 8DA "Lucie Miller".. last time I heard this was about 9 years ago(?) I was in bed with a bad flu so I missed most of it and I was delirious. FINALLY we get Daleks that are br00tal and relentless.

Got the avo off so the cricket with Eng v Sri Lanka, plus Echo Chamber from Shadow of the Daleks 2 (which was fantastic btw) and I'm half way through The Grey Man of the Mountain.
Early thoughts - it is quite a light story so far but a nice slow build, and Sylv seems to have rediscovered his acting skills (or has read the script beforehand). Miles better than The Dispossessed which I heard recently.

A relisten to Too Many Targets from The Avengers, which was a lot of fun the first time around (the grand finale that the original series never had really), before diving into one of The Comic Strip Adaptations that got buried beneath other purchases.

Waiting for the Series 24 Blu Ray set to arrive isn't easy. Listening once more to Terror of the Sontarans has helped greatly. I'd forgotten how good this story is, and what good use is made of the creatures. It also reminds me how much I miss the monthly releases.
