Torchwood Double part 1. So far, good, compelling start, snappy dialogue, just enough exposition. It has that spy thriller vibe & I’m a fan of those. Will probably marathon this with part 2 (which is why I waited till this week). 🕶️

Today's plan of listening is part 4 of the Elite, As much of Hexagora as I can squeeze in at work, Summer of Love for the drive home, and Oracle at Delphi at the gym.
Should be some interesting listening for the drive home.

Working my way through BF's extensive Sherlock Holmes series, and enjoying it very much. You can't beat a lengthy binge listen can you? I'm starting the 'Jonathan Barnes' era now, with the powerful Adventures of the Perfidious Mariner - only £2.99 on the website, for goodness sake!

Torchwood 58 Cadoc Point, before I listen to its feature in the podcast good review guide thanks to mark687.
So far, the mystery is really compelling. Unpeeling the various clues gradually.

Lost Stories- Power Play. Hmm. Well, they say that they did some re-writes of the story to fit a modern context a bit better. Still, this is not really one of the best scripts and not up there with the "good" Big Finish stories.
Finished this last week, and found it very slight. Pretty sure that they wouldn't have used Victoria if it had been filmed, I'm not sure she really added much.
Moved on to "Judoon in Chains" today, and while that's also pretty slight (let's just say people've done this plot with Ogrons twice) it was good fun. Particularly enjoyed Tony Millan, there's got to be something BF can do with him because he sounds just like Richard 'Stinker' Murdoch. I'm sure there must be Lost Stories for the Men from the Ministry....

Judoon in Chains is great fun and might be my favorite from that set. Sixie is placed well, since he knows a thing or two about court cases....

1963: Fanfare for the Common Men
Continuing to proceed through the 5th Doctor’s timeline. Can’t participate yet in the 5-7 discussion as I’m just at this story for 5 & indefinitely stuck at A Death in the Family for 7.

Started on Kamelion Empire. I think I find this a bit uninspired to be honest.

Today I (finally?) got round to listening to the first series of 'Lady Christina' and, whilst I'm not going to call it a "favourite" spin-off? It... Actually wasn't actually half-bad!

Who would have thought a One off companion from the 2000s that only appeared in one story could become a decent spin off and lead to multiple appearances
a shame that Big Finish doesn't take this to heart with some of the other one off companions during that peroid

I had no desire to listen to this one when it was first released. When I finally did, I found it one of the most fun things BF have ever produced. I love it, and listen to it fairly regularly. It's a blast!
