Finished Paul Darrow's autobiography You're Him, Aren't You? yesterday. Very amusing, and interesting to hear all the things he's done. And he's quite the name-dropper. Re-listened to Companion Chronicles 1.1 through 1.3 today: Frostfire, Fear of the Daleks, and the Blue Tooth. The Beautiful People is cued up next, I'd bought and listened to all of them years ago on CD, but since they are now available as downloads, I downloaded them and re-listened.

Yes, it's quite good, isn't it? I really enjoyed it when I listened last year. Over the last few days: re-listen to both The Church and The Crown and The Kingmaker. I love them both and they are on my re-listen rotation often, especially The Kingmaker. They go together in my head since both Buckingham's are played by the same actor. It's a nice little bit of continuity there.

Which makes me wonder about a sour comment made years ago about listening to the audiobook and the length of it. It wasn't a chore to listen to at all, so I have no idea what he was on about.

Continuing my Chesterton-athon, Companion Chronicles: The Wanderer, another excellent tale classily performed by the late William Russell.

The Prisoner Volume 2. It was interesting. I think I like Volume 1 better.

Forgot to mention that earlier in the week, I listened to Companion Chronicles: The Beautiful People. This was the last of the ones that I bought when it was available on CD only, and I listened to the download version this time. Then I listened to The Seventh Doctor New Adventures Volume 1. Happy to hear Chris and Roz.

Torchwood - Missing Molly. A real showcase of the talents of Gareth David-Lloyd. With a Sapphire ans Steel 'vibe', I think. Wonderfully unsettling.

Finally listened to The Diary of River Song: Friend of the Family and it truly is one of the most beautiful things Big Finish has ever put out. It's just about everything I think I've always wanted the River Song range to be too. I'm absolutely going to be revisiting this set often in the future, I can already tell!
