Revenge of the Cybermen (Blu-Ray with added CGI) some good Computer Screen shots really do give it a lift.

Warriors Gate with a friend. There's a very good story in there, but the director's odd choices make it hard to find. Not the best story-telling.

There are actually two for Warrior's Gate. Graham Harper, a Production Assistant at the time, took over halfway to finish up the serial after Paul Joyce fell ill from the stresses of production. It was Harper's work on this story that convinced JNT he should be encouraged to enroll in the BBC's directors course. In one of those nice historical quirks, if not for Warrior's Gate, we wouldn't have had The Caves of Androzani.

I kept noticing Graham Harper's name in the credits as production assistant, I even commented on it.

Tom Baker Years on Blu-Ray
(I got all nostalgic for the 90s BBC Video Idea and the weird "Jazzy" version of the theme they used)

Creature from the Pit I was curious about this one due to it’s umm....reputation shall we say🤔😳Lets just put this way it doesn’t disappoint in that respect 😉What were they thinking when they designed the creature in this story?! it’s kind of hilarious!🤣 I kind of love how naughty Tom was with it, those little looks he gives at the camera 😉😁 Definitely a so bad it’s good episode! Side note: I genuinely love Romana’s dress in this, she had some of the best outfits!😊 Do you have the Blu-Ray S18 set with 'The Tom Baker Years' VHS retrospective included? I remember that he said on it (back in around 1992) after viewing the scene again, that he was aware of the innuendo and sniggering from the crew when he recorded that scene, but said that he had no time for their base amusements and went ahead regardless. The guy was a 'pro' and did not think the young viewers would see it that way, so he was not amused. Apparently. I think Red Dwarf must have been influenced by it in the series 4 episode ' Camilla' where Kryten the service droid, meets and falls in love with a female droid who turns out to be a 'Gelf' ( Genetically Engineered Lifeform) in morph disguise , which was remarkably similar to the 'creature', but with a large eyeball at the head. They enjoy a fine, but doomed romance, when he learns and accepts her true self, in homage to 'Casablanca'. Stirring stuff. I hadn’t heard that before but I find it hard to believe Tom wasn’t even slightly amused 🤔 I have seen the red dwarf episode Camilla and now that you mention it there is a big resemblance between the two creatures! 🤔😁

Remembrance of the Daleks
Lots of brilliant action set pieces and a great farewell to the Daleks for the Classic series.
It’s just unfortunate the Cybermen didn’t get the same treatment.

Hello everyone! I've recently watched 'The Robots of Death', one of my favourite 'Doctor Who' stories from the Tom Baker era. Also have a new home assistant, D22, for my 'Bradley's Basement'. Tim.

Arc of Infinity - Okay start to the season but not my favorite story in the world. I had kind of forgotten about Colin's early appearance as Maxil. Has he ever reprised the role for Big Finish or something?

Just popped in Episode 1 of 'Talons of Weng Chiang' - first watch of the Blu-Ray edition. Looking good, with plenty of detail not noticed before. Sharper definition and brighter colours. John Bennett is excellent as Li H'sen Chang.
(at the station): "I see, Persons of No fixed abode" "No no. We do have an abode. Its called a Tardis" "I see. A Tardis." "But its not fixed."

Snakedance - I like both the Mara stories quite a lot. I wouldn't mind using it again on the show, especially if they stuck to the weird and dreamy qualities.

The Greatest Show in the Galaxy.
Ian Reddington is still wonderfully menacing as the Chief Clown. And I really like how this serial highlighted some of Sylvester McCoy’s performing skills.

Actually, I think that would be really cool. They could do a lot with that on the show now. Give Yaz the Mara, Chibnall! That’s what I was thinking too!😉 they could have Teagan (and possibly her wife Nyssa) come back to help figure out how Yaz can beat the Mara🐍 I think they could do some really trippy imagery with the Mara these day! I think they could even do animated sequences like they did with “Can you hear me?”
