I do understand the point laughingdevil is trying to make. it's a sale. some people will be able to take advantage, some won't.
we have no entitlement that obliges Big Finish to make these offers more user friendly and accessible to all, and it probably says more about our obsession with Big Finish than anything else how we react to this offer.
Having said that, it clearly isn't as easy to adjust you life to nake yourself available for all the offers as he's claiming. thank goodness I don't have one of my three hour train journeys with no wifi or mobile Internet that day. but you know what, if I did, I wouldn't complain about the unfairness of the offer. it's the nature of the beast. I'd try to be happy for those of you who were able to take advantage and save my pennies up for the next one.

Sales are good, BF having a bit of fun is good; if some people miss out on something in a sale this week, just like buses in a city i'm sure there will be another one along in a short while.

Woah! I didn't mean to start a fight on this one! Regardless of Mark not endorsing The Masters of Luxor and you not being a Fourth Doctor fan (such sacrilege). I always consider both of you to be very likable chaps. I don't post as much as I like to (I stink at finding things to say in all situations!), but I can say I find you to be a rather likeable sort. In the words of Alistair Deacon, "It's hugs time!" (oh phooey, wrong series!) Oh, and I kid you not, I found a tenner on the sidewalk yesterday, so fate decided for me. I'm nabbing Luxor anyway and I'll give it a try. I've endured Nekromenteia, Scaredy Cat, and Exile, so it could never be the worst thing I've ever heard. Who knows, I might like it after all!

I can honestly say that I enjoy everyone's presence on the Divergent Universe forum. What's not to like...we're discussing Doctor Who and other appealing entertainment products here! I really can't fathom many people ever thinking that The Masters of Luxor is dreadful. I could understand someone finding it just okay or someone finding it lumbering to a certain extent. Keep in mind it is a 6-parter story, comparative of what would sometimes occur (often with padding) during the classic Doctor Who eras. 7-8/10 at minimum rating from me! Hartnell first-liners Russell and Ford always combine to make a brilliant audio experience. As far as I'm concerned, it's a charming tale which evokes that early Doctor Who time period very well.
