Got my Tenth Doctor Adventures set after it only dispatching yesterday! Very quick delivery - other releases I have got either as birthday presents or Amazon so I hadn't actually ordered from Big Finish before but I would certainly do it again. Far quicker than Amazon, with whom I had so many problems with during my Sixth Doctor: The last Adventure order last year. I really hope they announce a volume two sometime soon. Judging from what they've said about it in different interviews, they would only announce it after it's been recorded.

I think most actors would do that for a *reading*, compared to one part in a script.
In the latter you can have read your script and seen your part and then been 'winging it' on the day - as in waiting to see how the other actors pitch their lines and you react to them. And if you're really good, and especially if you're playing an established part you can turn up and open the script for the first time and just 'do it'.
As for the former, any audiobook reader I've interviewed says 'you do 90% of the work before you reach the studio'.
I've heard Peter Davison joke on some of the behind-the-scenes recordings that most of the time he doesn't even read the scripts anymore before coming to the studio. I have a hard time believing that he doesn't even read them.

Oh, I honestly doubt that's necessary. Tennant and Tate clearly enjoyed themselves greatly. I think it's only a matter of scheduling and time before there's another set, and another, and another... I suspect they'll be less frequent than other docs given demand for Tennant on stage, TV, and film. Tate is also pretty busy, I gather.

There's been times Sylvester has had to give up pretty much every day off he had from theatre commitments so he could fulfil his BF duties. And, at least once, they had to go to studios where his tour was so that they could manage to get a day in the studio with him. It has often been really difficult to get both Peter and Sylv due to their at times almost constant TV or stage commitments.

Schedules are a challenge but working with busy & in demand actors is something Big Finish is used to.

As glib as it sounds, we'll get what we get. It's not as though the 10th Doctor stories are going to be low sellers so BF will know the demand, they'll surely know who is up for returning and how often...so let the chips fall where they may.

And as much as I really like Donna Noble, I'd like to see other TV and new companions alongside 10 too.

Only listened to Technophobia so far, and I agree with most of the early comments. A solid, well paced and very funny script, with Tennant and Tate on fine form throughout (I'm not sure if it was down to me not watching any Series 4 eps for several years, or simply Tate pitching things slightly differently, but I swear she had tuned down Donna's voice pitch and 'gobbiness' just a little bit, it actually took me a minute or two to realise it was Tate speaking!), it certainly felt like a Series 4 episode in spirit slotting in very well with the tone of the series (you instantly notice how much more prevalent the sonic screwdriver is!) and I appreciated the references to Donna's mum and 'gramps', if I were to nitpick it was perhaps a slighty derivative storyline, and some of the sound mixing was a little off (I struggled to here some of Lukas's dialogue), but a very promising, very enjoyable start so far 8/10.
I'm trying to 'ration' the remaining episodes for a few days (not least because I still have over a dozen other stories to listen to), but this episode was so enjoyable I'm not sure how long I'll hold out...
Volume 2 please!
