What intrigued me was Barrowman inclusion of BBCWorldwide, BBCAmerica as well as BF and saying he was going to be in Cardiff for "a week and a half".
Something going off here that is far greater than "just" recording a story or two for BF. BF stories are generally I understand recorded in one day, assuming that their not working Saturday or Sunday, that gives them time to record 7 or 8 stories. There has to be more to it than just recording a story for BF.

He's been all over social media with this. There must have been 4 or 5 little videos of the two of them on Facebook yesterday running around Cardiff and having a grand ol' time. And it's not going to be just a BF thing because THEY ARE IN CARDIFF. And we all know that Cardiff = Doctor Who. He He.  |

Yeah, BF have clearly squeezed in a quick recording of something while he was in Cardiff for other reasons.
Oh and Capaldi has shaved his holiday beard off and is also in Cardiff at present.

BBC Worldwide and BBC America are both commercial operations as is BF, Doctor Who (TV) is not made by any of those... I am intrigued and agree it could be a mix of projects, but it seems to me that it will not be anything to do with Doctor Who the TV series.

There was a lot of chat last week that hell be in the Christmas special this year. I don't think that's starting filming yet. I think S10 starts shooting in June.

I think they could be doing filming in studio at present. Capaldi shaving implies he's filming as he doesn't usually stay clean shaven when not doing stuff.
So they could be doing Christmas special now, then Series 10 in June.
