There are many fandoms for popular shows, but not every person is fond of every popular show. Sometimes a show rubs someone the wrong way, or simply fails to grab an audience member.
Which fandoms are you NOT part of, especially ones that surprise (or shock) your friends?
Example: I just don't care for Game of Thrones: a fact which my friends cannot comprehend.

Game of Thrones. Seriously. I mention I've seen X-Men Apocalpyse and people ask how someone I can only assume is Iron Man's sister was in that movie. Red wedding? Good for them. It feels like at times I am the only person in the world who does not follow Game of f***ing (based on what I've heard about it that's actually an accurate description of the show) Thrones. Pardon my french.
Also, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and the other Netflix shows. That more violent stuff just doesn't tick my boxes, and since they put in the geoblock I've cancelled my Netflix account. Star Trek, for I don't have the time to waste on yet another franchise.

Star Wars. I bet that's going to shock many of you but I'm just not as awed by the special effects as many are. To me, the classic series effects are better than those in the original Star Wars trilogy because they have a certain charm to them and somehow feel more 'real' to me even though they were made on a shoestring budget.

The Empire Strikes Back is one of my favourite science fiction blockbusters and Knights of the Old Republic II is a brilliant video game, yet I have never been able to get into Star Wars. I really wish I could, but I think watching the prequels as a child tainted my view of them somewhat.
The new Battlestar Galactica is one of those shows which I watched recently for the benefit of a friend and came away from with one thought, which was "What an absolute waste of my time." My friend was in tears because it was all coming to an end, but I was sitting there thinking about all the plot holes and how thoroughly unlikeable all of these characters were. I just could not get into it, it's one of the very few television shows I'm actually resistant to now.

Star Wars - I like them and all, but I really could not care less if one came out every year or every 5. Much More of a Star Trek kind of guy The Middle Earth Saga - I find them overly long and boring DC Comics - Don't like the comics or the movies that much. I am a fan of the T.V Shows however. Weird that. Narnia - Find it plain boring. And my least favourite is DOCTOR WHO!(Just Kidding )

I'll agree with The Walking Dead. I'm just not into Zombies. And I have to say that this podcast, in which podcaster Eric Molinsky talked about how he went from being phobic about zombies to being a fan of The Walking Dead made me even more definitively sure that I never want to watch The Walking Dead. Sorry, Eric. Great podcast, by the way, if any of you haven't listened to Imaginary Worlds.

The Big Bang Theory - I don't understand the appeal, really at all. The characters are just dull snark machines with slight distungishing character traits between them and there just isn't a sense that any of these characters are friends.
I find the writing around Sheldon to be very transparent and despite what the writers have officially said on the matter, given the nastiness which prevails across the show, I can't really believe it.

I've got all the comics and they're - to this day over 150 issues in - fantastic. The TV show is dull and repetitive. The trope of them walking to a new sanctuary every season, only to find its not the paradise they hoped for is not one that happens anywhere near as much on the page. I've no idea why the show does it but personally I stopped watching after David Morrisey's The Governor left. One of my all time favourite actors playing one of my all time favourite characters from comics...that'll do.

Babylon 5. You can't pay me enough to watch that tripe.
Farscape. But mainly because the puppets just didn't work for me, I kept getting chucked out of the story by their awfulness.
