Prince Of Darkness, one of John Carpenter's most underrated horror films.
Tense, creepy, scary & what a eerie music score.

My main man Alice Cooper is in this movie, he impales someone on a bike.

Doctor Sleep Wow, possibly for me one of the best King adapts out there. Everyone in the cast is spot on. Its a slow burner but flies by. Even better than IT Chapter 1 for me
Immortals While enjoyable, its all visuals and little story. and what a waste of the cast

28 Weeks Later - I don't know why this movie seems to be thought of as mediocre. I guess the original just set the bar that much higher, or maybe it's written off because horror sequels have a tendency to suck, but honestly it's a pretty good zombie runaround. Robert Carlyle's escape from the cottage at the start is a great scene.
Yes, it's more Hollywood, more action-oriented, but that's what Alien/Aliens did. I think it can be a viable option for a sequel because it prevents the movie from just being the same thing again and logically when something like this has happened, you'd be going into Round 2 loaded for bear. There are definitely some pretty serious lapses in the military's security precautions here (maybe don't leave the quarantine room's back door unlocked, guys) but overall, I've always liked it.

Eastern Europe and the USA all lay claim to [bonus for GOT fans the Smash and Grabbers are led be Alfie Allen and one the Gangs led by Nicholas Costa Waldo]).
Raised by Loins
(Brit Comedy Having lost their Mother as infants, when their Grandmother dies, 2 Half Brothers decide to track down the older ones Asian Father in Blackpool rather then live with their Mother's stuck up Sister. Comic complications ensue however, when the Father proves to be completely immature and there's a surprising case of Lust at First Sight for the younger brother and one of his siblings newly discovered Cousins, who turns out to be a selective mute.)
A Young Man with very High Potential
(Odd its ether a very dark comedy with over the top gore or a slow drama with over the top gore. Disaster ensues when 2 Uni Students, both equally smart but 1 extremely socially awaked share a drink to celebrate completing their shared coursework.)

Ransom (1974) An interesting Hostage film starring Sean Connery and Ian McShane. The very end did seem very rushed

The Ward, some interesting elements but it's not one of Carpenters best efforts.

Not really up to Arrow, or any distributor. They can only licence what's available and Warners and New Line are very tight with what they let boutiques touch and both own a piece of that film. In an ideal world it would be with Studiocanal and we'd get the 4K like we did for those other Carpenters last year.

The Ward, some interesting elements but it's not one of Carpenters best efforts. At least it means Ghosts of Mars won't continue to stand as his last directed feature...

I just want a official UK release on Blu-ray, not fussed who releases it as long as we get a actual release, typical can get Ghost Of Mars on UK Blu ray but not this classic.

JC Vampires, yet another underrated gem,James Woods performance alone as Jack Crow raises this film above ya generic vampire movie while Ian Thomas Griffith chews the scenery as the vampiric Jan Valek.
