Yeah Definitely. The Full 2 Hour Directors Cut is the better version

Submerged, awful Steven Seagal movie which features half the film with another guy dubbing him because Seagal fell out with director & wouldn't return to do ADR.
This could've been half decent if Seagal gave a sh.t but he's just a lazy performer who phones in his performance, there's a couple of decent British actors in the cast but Gary Daniels martial arts are wasted in this film & his fight with Seagal way to short.
When Vinnie Jones is the best thing about the movie you know a films in trouble.
Oh & Carla from Corries in it & a sexy bad ass so gives this a 2/5.
Still not as bad as Attack Force which is still one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Watched Arrival last night (only four years late to the party). Despite being poorly lit/coloured, and a couple of positively cringe-inducing last lines of dialogue in the movie, I liked it. Good concepts and execution, kind of put me in mind a bit of Interstellar.

Batman: Gotham By Gaslight (2018)
A fine re imagining of the classic Elseworlds story. Plus, it’s Jack the Ripper Vs Batman! What’s not to love?
Couldn’t help but think what the Justice League of this Steampunk version of the DC universe would be like.

Sudden Impact, my Clintfest continues, love the climax.
Micks Goon. "holy sh.t".
A silhouette of Harry Callahan with his auto magnum slowly starts walking towards them while Lalo Schriffin music score gives me goosebumps.
"Go ahead make my day".
Many people think that quotes from Dirty Harry infact it's from this movie.

The Dead Pool, a cracking final Dirty Harry movie, Jim Carreys character is killed quickly (thank god) Liam Neeson has a small ponytail while Guns & Roses feature in cameos.
Classic Quotes.
Harry Callahan. "You forgot your fortune cookie & it says your sh.t outta luck"
Harry Callahan. "Opinions are like brats everybody's got one"
Harry Callahan. "You got any kids"
Police Chief. "No"
Harry Callahan. "Lucky for them".
Harry Callahan. "If Butch doesn't get his mail from his mother he's gonna be real pi.sed off & he's going to come down here to complain because your the mail man, i wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't cancel your ass with a stamp"

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Definitely the best of the new trilogy. But if they'd planned all 3 they could have seeded more of Episode IX here

Last night I participated in my first ever Netflix Party, watching The Matrix 'with' a few people from a Toronto radio station, two of the members of the band of July Talk, and whoever else joined the chat. Fun new way of doing things given our present reality.
Right at the moment I have Boogie Nights on. Not my first time, watching it for a couple friends' podcast. Such a good movie.

Recent watches
10 Minutes Gone
(Standard Actioner featuring Bruce Willis)
2 Dramas with songs in them next
Rocketman (2019)
(The Elton John Bio-pic Not bad)
Her Smell
(Elizabeth Moss stars and sings as the lead of a All Women Punk Rock Band who as she witnesses younger talent coming on the scene can't decide whether to burn out or fade away. It features some decent Covers and 1 or 2 good Original Songs)

The Irishman - I enjoyed it, though it was perhaps a little long, thankful I watched it during the day as I think had I waited until later in the day I might have fallen asleep. As it is, the cat was left comatose.
