The Argument [2020]
(Comedy A Theater Writer/Director and his girlfriend wake up following a Dinner Party they Hosted the night before, hungover each believing the other owes them an apology for something that happend. So they question their friends about it and in the process he decides it would make a good Script so he hires a group of Actors to recreate the night and Ad lib the bits where they're are still gaps in recollections.)

Raiders Of The Lost Ark (my 625th film of lockdown/since the end of March) - It's been quite a few years now since I last saw this one (or any of the others), and loved it as-ever.
Stitch! The Movie - Well, film number 626 might as well be about 626! At 58minutes it's barely feature-length (for the BFI it's 45min+ & AFI 75min+), but it was fine, I guess? 'I watched it in the bath after getting home from a long day at work, and enjoyed it fine, but I think it could maybe have done with a little bit of development 'here and there' to knock it over an hour...
Revenge Of The Pink Panther - As (unintentional) farewells go, this was a pretty decent finale to Peter Sellers (who apparently lived locally to me). I've remembered the finale in the firework factory for quite a few years now, but always presumed that it was for 'A Shot In The Dark' or another earlier instalment...
Trail Of The Pink Panther - Whilst I will flip-flop on my opinion as to how weird & creepy it is to edit Peter Sellers into a film 3yrs after his passing, this was ok, I guess? I've seen better, I've seen worse... 'Had this been 10 or so minutes shorter, I think I'd probably have enjoyed it a little bit more.
She's Funny That Way - An ok-enough 'farce', but I can see why it flopped... (It was nice, I must say, to see Imogen Poots & Owen Wilson though).

Earwig and the Witch
I love Studio Ghibli but this was weird. The main character was annoying, the animation was odd and plasticky, and it ended just as it felt like the third act was starting. I did like some aspects though Richard E. Grant as the Mandrake was the best character ( I wish he was the main character), also the psychedelic and rock elements were interesting but I wish there was more of that.

The Reckoning. There are a couple moments that remind me that Neil Marshall is a good director but this is terrible film that doesn't know if it wants to be a drama about female oppression during the witch hunts or a hammer horror. The movie seems to be obsessed with the bum of lead actress Charlotte Kirk, who gives one of the worst lead performances I seen in a film in years.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Gun Crazy - Gorgeous low-budget, B-movie film noir. Great direction, including a one-take bank robbery sequence. Wonderful performances from almost unknown lead actors. Packed with action, very sexy (at least by 1950 standards). Needs more love.

At the moment I'm an hour into 'The Curse Of The Pink Panther' and, well, the fact that Geoffrey Beevers is in it as a hotel concierge has probably made me happier than it probably should... (He's in it for no more than a minute & a half, for the record).

Nice homage!
