Courtesy of Talking Pictures TV, "How to Undress in Public Without Undue Embarrassment" which I had understood was a comedy.
Not many laughs.
Lot more nudity than I expected.
British sexploitation film of 1965, as it turned out. A few years later the ostensible 'star', an alleged actor called Jon Pertwee, was deemed an appropriate choice to front a children's television serial.
Most odd.

The Bad Guys. ๐บ๐๐ธ๏ธ๐ฆ๐ Loving it so far, the animation , voice acting, music. Theyโre exactly how I imagined them, reading the books to my niece & nephew years ago. (The books have their own charm of course.)
Recommended for those who like heist movies, animation, ensemble movies. ๐๐ป
Apparently, the Blu-ray burner which has been in my room since last year (forgot it was there), when connected to my laptop, plays Blu-rays. Lol. ๐
Oh wow. the setup also plays UK PAL Blu-ray (The Bad Guys was US Blu-ray). Watching The Night of the Doctor (included in the Doctor Who the Movie disk). And Iโll watch the Movie tomorrow (Iโve only seen YouTube clips & read the book). ๐

Can of Worms (1999)
The acting is over the top (itโs a Disney Channel Original Movie, so what do you expect?) but the alien effects are actually really well done.

New "Teen Wolf" movie.. 2 hrs 20 mins. I went to a Teen Wolf convention here with wife and, because I am me, at the Q and A session I asked 1 of the actresses about "Sterek" (google it- it's a thing based on an acting choice in a scene).. She freaked out and went on this awesome rant about it because she was so supportive of it LOLZ.

Had weekend duty at work today, but made an effort to finish in time to go to the cinema. To see another kids movie. This time, the new Three Investigators movie. It is a German thing. I am not even sure there will be an international release. Anyways, nice atmospheric kids movie, tons and tons of Easter-eggs for fans of the audio drama series and the actors are the best youth actors in the country, so all in all well made and performed.

Rated 18 for UK I'm assuming for number of transformations and a couple of F Words An Ok Coda for the Series Jurassic World Dominion (Nostalgia factor nearly out weighs the latest flat story twist.)

"Heaven's Above!" on Talking Pictures TV. Not a great film, but fantastic cast - Peter Sellers, Eric Sykes, Ian Carmichael, Derek Nimmo, Malcom Muggeridge (acting), Irene Handl, Roy Kinnear, Ludovic Kennedy (as himself), William Hartnell (this came out in mid-1963, mark you) and Brock Peters (off of Star Trek).

The Fabelmans. I loved every second of this film. It's a beautifully told story, and the young actor who plays Sam Fabelman (or should I just say Steven Spielberg) is amazing. You know that every second of this film is told through the eyes of this kid. Parents who start out as god-like when he is young, their images seem to crack as his teen years go by. And if nothing else, Spielberg has always been quite the story teller. There's even a cameo appearance by one of my favorite directors, which I was not expecting. (And if you don't know, then I won't give it away.)

Dear Elizabeth [2022]
(A very oddly toned comedy drama A middle aged man joins Social Media and shares stories of knowing Actress Elizabeth Banks at College, and is promptly sued by her Agents and Lawyers for harassment and defemination despite it being all true.)

Freddy vs Jason A fun film, but moves at such a brisk pace. It could have added another 15/20 minutes i think because there are just so many characters coming and going
16 Blocks
To Die For
The Losers
Collateral Damage
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Pathfinder

I recall the "Destinys Child" singer (not Beyonce - Kelly) who was in this movie expressed Huge Regret over that certain line in this movie.
It's still a bit cringey to this day..

Freddy Vs Jason is a lot better than it has any right to be. I wish they had gone ahead with that ending where they encounter Pinhead just for sheer novelty of it alone.
Actually, it makes you think, if this was released now it would have served as the basis for a Slasher Cinematic Universe.

I like horror movies, so a box set full of obscure, micro-budget - not low budget, but micro-budget - films called Magic, Myth and Mutilation is an essential purchase for a horrible blighter like me. A bit of a gamble - it's quite pricey, and the collection's director Michael J Murphy was so obscure, I'd never heard of him. Happily, the first few films I have seen are wonderfully weird and wonderful. Just my cup of tea. This will keep me out of trouble for the forseeable future, I'm delighted to say.

Knock At The Cabin - Well, that was certainly... A film by M Night Shamalamadingdong. Puss In Boots; The Last Wish - First rule of Checkov's Gun; When setting up a phoenix in the first act, why not use it for it's well known healing ability in the third? Oh, we're just going to use it for a single fire? Oh, ok...
The Whale - A little long towards the end, but a decent film, and a wonderful return for Brendan Fraser...

"Black Panther 2".. wife was in tears within the 1st 5 minutes. I loved it. I might even like it better than the first one. Last night I watched You People with my sisters. And I'll never get those 2 hours back.
