The Munsters.
A lot of the jokes didn't land, but overall, I'd describe this as 'fun'. I find Rob Zombie's films variable but always interesting. I watched mainly to see Sylvester as Igor, and enjoyed his performance a lot - lots of excuses for face pulling and rolling his 'rrr's, and a veteran of comic timing. There's a certain element of Stan Laurel in Igor!
Sounds good to me- might be a movie for tonight. Not having high expectations and just want to watch something light and for which I need not a lot of brain power.
I think The Munsters fits the bill! I hope you enjoy it.

Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania Now i did enjoy this, was a fun film and a lot better than Thor 4. The opening though was very rushed, could have done another 20 minutes at least. Majors absolutely rules this movie Did you see the 2 after credits scenes?
Of course i did lol

Smile.
I've heard Smile being compared to It Follows, which I can understand - but whereas I really didn't enjoy It Follows at all, I loved watching Smile (last night, as it happens). The acting is very strong, especially from the lead; Parker Finn's direction makes sure the jump scares - which can go either way, I find - work well. The soundtrack is really unsettling (and is available to buy). The actual 'smile' doesn't feature that much but is a good, creepy way of letting us know who's who and what's what! I'm not a massive fan of mainstream modern horror but was pleasantly surprised by this.

Majors absolutely rules this movie I found that refreshing. It just got right into it after briskly letting us know how things were going. But yeah, I'm surprised by how much I loved this film. I had a couple of nit-picks here and there, but on the whole it was very well-balanced. It's bonkers how inundated I've been with negative takes on the film. Like, I'm not saying all MARVEL criticism is unwarranted, but the hate's just getting out of hand now.

I'm a big Marvel fan, but I was pretty underwhelmed with Quantumania...I didn't hate it or anything, but I didn't think it was great *shrug*
(And as it's mentioned in a quoted post -- I thought Thor 4 was a vastly better movie than this)

Thor: Love and Thunder was one of the worst films I have ever seen. Will give this new Antman movie a miss.

The Munsters- Hmmm.... this does not really work as a movie. It looks and feels like a stage show. But a VERY impressive one. I adore all the costumes and sets! Visually this is amazing. It just does not come together for me as a working movie. However, I am very sure if I had seen this live on stage I would have been all over it.

I prefer Rob Zombie as a musician rather than his movies, but yeah it passes the time. He is the poster child for 50/60/70's sci fi/horror/mystery tv shows and movies - he grew up as part of a Carnival family, he saw some "things" LOLZ

Evolution Holds up surprisingly well. The character chemistry is so great I was laughing throughout, and the CG, while dates, still looks pretty stylish.
Small Soldiers Still pretty good, though not as great as I remember.
Attack on Titan: The Final Season - Part 3, Pt1, Parts One and Two (They have to be taking the piss at this point...) It was great. Things are finally cresuendoing into endgame, with all the hype and dramatics you'd hope for.

Knives Out
Oh damn. Quite possibly the biggest format screw of the detective mystery format since Christie. And it’s funny too!
Daniel Craig’s accent…it’s a thing of beauty. I have absolutely no idea what he’s even trying to do but it’s glorious.

Creed III; Rocky V Champions - A little long in the middle, but I absolutely adored it! Scream 6 - Yes, I absolutely do want to watch a scary movie A fairly decent way of spending a couple of hours on a Thursday evening! I did know one killer going in, but another was a pleasant surprise.

I clearly recall seeing #1 in the cinemas in my 20's - the cinema was dead quiet, everyone was tense then... the jumpscares . Great 1st 2 movies.

I'd have been three when the first one came out, so have only really seen the latest two on the big-screen (I have, of course, seen the others, yes). I'm not the biggest horror or slasher fan in the world, but I do have a lot of time for this series...
