As my parents are in Antigua for the next couple of weeks, & I have the house to myself, today I've been marathoning the 'American Pie' franchise... Like a normal person does on a Monday.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Finally got round to watching this. Not only does it look amazing but brought back that sense of joy had watching Spidey as a kid. Easily the best superhero movie I've watched in ages. Only downside is now I want to know more about new characters was introduced to.

The Holdovers - Slightly long towards the end, but I absolutely adored it.
The Colour Purple
Baghead - Particularly "happy", at the cinema, after four bottles of 'pocket sized' wine, during a (not quite so crummy) crummy January film... No, no I don't know why I've never been (& probably never will) go on a date either...

Some friends and I have been watching all of Disney's animated films in order. We usually stream one movie a week on Fridays.
This week's movie is The Rescuers.

Just finished that Netflix documentary on the making of the "We Are The World- USA for Africa" song..
Back when singing voices were unique and not pro tooled/synthesized up..
Flash back for me as I was 9-10 years old back then and clearly remember it all.

Those 2 could actually sing, the issue is the record label didn't want their voices just their "look".
They were bullied so much that 1 of them isn't here anymore. Record labels are brutal. Prince and Michael Jackson were telling the world for many many years.

Well, we'll agree to disagree on their singing ability. & as for Michael Jackson...no comment.

Disney's "Inside Out". Amazingly accurate psychological drama. Much deeper and more thoughtful than I thought this would be. This deserves all the praise it gets.

Underworld Underworld Evolution Underworld Rise of the Lycans The Thing Trading Places I like the Underworld series, despite Vampire movies not being my thing. I was dragged into the cinema back then by a friend of mine who worked on the special effects of the films (some of which were done by a German / Munich company).
Against expectations I liked the movies. Especially Michael Sheen.

Yeah its a very underrated series. Though i do wish Evolution and Rise of the Lycans were about 20 minutes longer each, especially with the stories they are trying to tell
