Am I alone on this, or do others wish they would sell them individually?

While I'm perfectly happy to purchase the entire box set, I don't think it would be a bad idea to have the option to purchase them separately whilst also keeping the boxset option. I don't mind that the option isn't there now, but that could change by the time the details for the second boxset are announced.

That would make manufacturing more complex, but an interesting idea

It's not unheard of, Iris series 2 is available as both a box set and single releases. However the circumstances behind that are beyond me.

I'm fine with boxsets, although the only Doctor I follow 100% at BF is McGann, all the stories sound interesting and it certainly works out cheaper buying them in a boxset rather than £8-10 singly, I suppose keeping them in boxsets makes it easier to market for BF and brings in more money quicker.

That would make manufacturing more complex, but an interesting idea Sell them as a set on the physical side but maybe offering up individual releases & box set options on the download end with special features only being included for the box set?

If you were to buy Technophobia, Time Reaver and Death and the Queen individually, it would cost more than getting it in the Limited Edition box set.

I am specifically following McGann's Doctor, so I don't want to get hooked into more lol.

I mean... I DO have other audios of other Doctors... but I'd prefer to just stick with Eight for the most part.

It's TWENTY QUID FOR FOUR STORIES.
So for just under twice what you'd've paid for the one you want, you get THREE MORE.
It's very hard to fault that.
What is the packaging? Dark Eyes style or Third Doctor style? If it's the former then eBay or a local charity shop would help you with your surplus.

Well I live in Canada, so it costs us a lot more... when not pre-order price it costs upwards of $100 for a boxset... to put that into perspective a 2 bedroom apartment costs between $700-1000 during a quiet season. I will admit, that Doctor Who audios do not exist here in thrift stores... lucky to find a novelization, and if you find one of those, $14.99 is on the high end.

The Dark Eyes sets are $68 CAD each, assuming you didn't get them on preorder. And they cost half that if you get just the digital. Same with Doom Coalition. War Doctor sets are even cheaper at $51 CAD physical/$25 digital non-preorder. And the whole CDNM set is a whole $34.48 CAD, or $20 digital!

Another Canadian here. Dark Eyes 2 right now is $75.86 after postage. Hinchcliffe (one of the most expensive DW boxes) is $103.44. A CDNM preorder is $41.38.

Yeah, as a Canadian, it's difficult to go physical with prices the way they are, Book depository has served me well in that case.
but $35 for CDNM is actually pretty reasonable all things considered.

Bottom line is, why do I want to buy stuff I don't want just for one that I do. Even at $20 solo, sale day brings it to $10, then the money I save can be spent on more McGann.

"Upwards of $100" means 'more than $100'...which, broadly speaking, is demonstrably not the case.
