If there's enough posts to justify it's own sub forum, a sub forum will happen.

If a Mod would like to create a Sub-Forum for this that's ok I'd like to see Counter-Measures, Survivors and UNIT (and more) get their own sub-boards.

Survivors could get its own sub-board, I think. I bought that up with the other mods a while back, and then it got tabled while we were discussing other things. The other ranges mentioned don't really have enough threads yet to justify a sub-board. We are going for not overwhelming the forum with a huge number of sub-boards. And one thread (in the case of Luther Arkwright) definitely doesn't need its own sub-board.

I was hoping to get a download with my previously purchased CD, but oh well. The album cover is gorgeous, maybe with this option more people will try this out!

It's worth getting, even just to hear David Tennant saying: "Rose", in an English accent!

I already have it on CD and loved it. But I sure won't be paying again to get the download version. I'd rather spend my money on Big Finish releases I don't already own.
Disappointing that the download won't be available to previous purchasers of the CD.

I didn't have the CD and just purchased the DL version. Hopefully will have a chance to listen this week. I remember the few times it came up on sale I thought if only it was available to DL. Well I got my wish.
Gallifrey I hope your next!

Yep. I don't know if it is a "rights" issue or a "policy" issue now... Cheers Tony

It must be prohibitively time consuming to go back and look at sales records stretching back 11 years to find everyone who purchased the CD and check if they have a BF account still active in order to give them the download. At least the download isn't too expensive. Don't forget, the option to download only came in 2008.

They might be able to add a download to the item entry in existing accounts the same as adding sub bonuses to Main Range releases and so forth, so there might be some remaining rights issues? I'm actually surprised they pursued the rights on a single release in the first place. I'm glad they did it though as I hadn't quite managed to include Luther Arkwright in a prior CD purchase.
Can hardly go wrong though, either a fiver for David Tennant or rip 'em if you got 'em, which is still the only way to have your own "downloadable" Gallifrey, Bernice and etc. (Wasn't that long ago I spent an entire weekend ripping the whole run of Bernice CDs, trying to make the folders as much as possible like they were downloaded from Big Finish - was actually kind of fun).

If Big Finish is saying it's a rights issue, I'm willing to take them at their word.

Agreed with respect to all the releases mentioned. And, yes, I always rip the CD only releases to my computer so I can listen on my iPod.

So....what do the people who have this think of it?
I am hesitant to get into other BF products because of one very important thing: my wallet.
I've got all the Who with an established Doctor, plus the unbounds with someone as the Doctor. I'm worried about what will happen if I start trying other things and .....enjoy them.

It's nothing like Doctor Who and is a one off. It's great fun and very comic book in some ways. I held off for years, but when I got it was impressed. I can't see it leading to any other ranges
