Well people who frequent the FB pages that some have gone to can post about it, we can also contact people we know via PM on the dead forum.
But by far the best way would be to get BF to add this forum as a possible destination to its "closed" message.

Perhaps someone can ask Big Finish to tweet the forum.
And yes definitely encourage the Facebook group to join.

Big Finish will not do anything to promote an external forum if there is any chance they would be seen as endorsing it, as far as I can tell

Couldn't they just say they are in no way affiliated with this forum?

I think they would retweet information about the forum even if they don't tweet it directly.

To be fair I understand the stance of impartiality, but they have created this issue haven't they so perhaps they should relax the rules, also did I not read the Nick Briggs joined Zero Room FB page? Perhaps Ian could join here whom used to dip into the "old forum" just my thoughts.

Anyone who is on that zero room Facebook page should encourage people to join here. I want our vibrant community back. Me too! Although for anyone on Facebook, especially those who browse it all day, they might now prefer to stay on that Facebook page for conveniance. To a lot of people the popular social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.) have taken over from web forums... it is all about conveniance these days. It would be nice to see some more of the old gang here though, so hopefully some more pop over and say Hi.

Well, I'm in the midst, as some of you here know, of polling everyone there on what they want to do regarding a forum, whether here or indeed elsewhere, with the emphasis really on getting people off Facebook because it isn't at all conducive to faciliting the sort of group community we had and are used to. I've timed it like a BF weekend sale to allow for timezones and so on, so about noon on Monday everyone the polls close and if you haven't voted then then that will be taken as abstaining. Hopefully it will galvanise people.

I really do not mind, what we do,or where we go,or what we call ourselves,as long as we all unite on one forum.
