I few years back I got hold of BF's fillings at companies house, and was surprised at just how small an operation they were, I could do that again.
I can tell you, BF registered the following companies between the 12th and 16h January this year:
Big Finish Studios Ltd Big Finish Recordings Ltd Big Finish Media Group Ltd
and Big Finish Entertainment Ltd was registered one year previous
Looking at their exempt filings (BF are a small company as defined in UK tax law and so are exempt from many of the filing responsibilities that larger companies have) Even in late 2014 BF really do appear still to live a hand to mouth existence, even though their assets ran to just over £1m the cash in the bank only amounted to £20,000, although I do suspect some form of accounting slight of hand somewhere as they are owed £838,000 by who knows what, considering BF's business model I struggle to think who could owe them money, except and unless it's some kind of way of holding customers pre-order money in some sort of arms length escrow, but that's just speculation on my part.
Big Finish Entertainment Ltd is in BF's accounts for 2014 as a 100% owned subsiduary whose activity is "TV show production" making a loss of £42,000.
They also own 99% each of "Planet 55 Studios Pty Ltd", "PZ Productions Prty Ltd" (Animated TV production) and "PZ Holdings Pty Ltd" (Holding company) which made a combined loss of £150,000 in 2014 and I guess are Australian companies.
Much more pertinent to BF's business I cannot discern.

Don't forget Jason owns the group of companies and the 99% holdings are nothing to do with the Productions arm

I don't care about Big Finish as an actual company now, or how much they make etc, they are a business to me now just like any other. I will buy what products I want to buy from them like I do with any other company that produces things that I like. If something is cheaper on Amazon I will buy it on Amazon, if it's cheaper from BF, I will buy it from BF. My loyalty is to my wallet.

I have no problem with Big Finish doing Nu Who, I think it is good, but, also there is that nagging element, they also state they are a small company, if they are to satisfy all the ranges currently, they must be working flat out. If you increase the ranges even more, unless you retire some, you are going to rob the current releases of their current quality and the cannot be a good thing. I just wonder what direction they will take next. Although as Jason as stated, they Big Finish have stated it in black and white that they are free under licence to do development larger ranges. That does interest me a great deal. Maybe it is time they retire some ranges. The Companion Chronicles, Iris Wildthyme, Graceless ... Every time they retire a range, they end up bringing it back! Not complaining, just making an observation. As BF shifts more and more to box sets, it does seem the Main Range is becoming something of a red-headed stepchild. And poor Charlotte Pollard has definitely been put on the back burner. Personally, I'm at the saturation point. My MR subscription ran out five months ago and I haven't re-upped simply because there are so many other releases.

What's interesting is you guys are saying this stuff. When BF had there own forum they effectively had immediate access to this type of customer info. Sadly for them this is no longer the case. This is supposing of course that Ian or Kris are not lurking amongst us. (Said in a sort of dark shadows/Bella Lugosi voice)

Well, they've already got John Hurt. Christopher Eccleston is nearly a impossibility. I don't think he'll ever do any BF audios. David Tennant is a certainty. He'll do it even if he's too busy. Matt Smith is more hit and miss. He's not a Whovian like David Tennant so won't have the same level of commitment to Who if he's busy but he seemed to enjoy playing the part and I see no reason why he wouldn't if he had time to do it. Peter Capaldi after he has left the show is a certainty too for the same reason as David Tennant. That's two certainties out of four, one maybe and one near-impossible. Agreed as to Eccleston. I think he's said that in general, he doesn't reprise roles. It's just not something he does. (On the other hand, he left because of problems w/ people @ BBC...reasons obviously not present with BF). I think that Matt Smith is about as likely as Tennant to come to BF, but I think it will take longer. He only recently left the role and will probably also want to play a bunch of different roles before going back Tennant is more established as an actor, both on screen and on stage. It's been a while since he reprised the role, and he certainly seemed to be enjoying himself in Day of the Doctor. I suspect the only limiting factor will be making the time to get into the studio, given all his commitments and the fact that he's got young children.

So a possibility for 9 CCs like Tom had for a while then? I could see that if 9 wasnt limited in companion choices. He's not that limited when you think about it. You could have Rose, Captain Jack, Mickey and Adam Mitchell Companion Chronicles.

He's only there to show a new audience the Doctor's morals regarding profiteering from time travel. He's quite explicitly there for just a very short while and dumped again. Not exactly ripe for storytelling potential. Besides, I'm sure Bruno's pretty full time on Corrie. Those soap actors get worked to the bone.

It's like with Katerina, a small role that Big Finish can do little to salvage because the only two stories they appear in run consecutively. We've even got a follow on story from Long Game for Adam in {Spoiler}the IDW Prisoner of Time comics, where Adam is the figure kidnapping the Doctor's companions at the end of each story.the IDW Prisoner of Time comics, where Adam is the figure kidnapping the Doctor's companions at the end of each story, with his final fate being, well, final.

Adams not even that memorable to be honest. Captain Jack is probably the most likely.

They don't need four companions to do a box set, though. Look at First Doc Vol. 1 - just Susan, Vicki and Steven.
Even Rose and Jack would be enough, honestly. Two stories told by each, each appearing in the other stories as a "guest voice".

And Jackie? I'd see that happening. Jackie and Mickey riffing back to the year when Rose vanished? What was that actually like for them?

I'd LOVE that to be a 9 CC but it might be a Jackie appearance in Torchwood, which wouldn't be a bad thing either just a bit peculiar.
