(So that means that it's the Paternoster Gang concept itself that's currently off the table. Briggs Tweeted the other day that "We still cant use them")

Jo Jones, Benton, Yates, Silurians and Sea Devils!! - and Kate and Osgood too - and Guy Adams is writing for it. Wow! This really is amazing, I never ever thought I'd see the day half of this would happen. Nice one, Big Finish!

It certainly has a lot to live up to. Roll on May and also for the next boxsets to be announced as these have been brilliant. By the way, did I miss UNIT number 3? I don't remember it at all ... ok, I'm going ...
Cheers

I'm looking at it *right now* on the website. It's out this month.

No, I don't seem to have heard anything about a Volume 3 either. Just seems to skip from 2 to 4. Odd.
I'm glad that BF is finally doing another Silurian story. Maybe that means that they'll have Madame Vastra show up before too long. I wonder if the Silurians will know that they are dealing with the daughter of the man who blew up one of their colonies. I also really want to hear Kate meet the Third Doctor now.
Silurians? Was that mentioned in the podcast as well?

Silenced is due out this month, this is a good way to hype. I love this - love that Jo is a pic from SJA. Looks like this will pay homage ot the Pertwee era. Also hopefully Yates will make reference to his Nest Cottage/Worlds of DW appearances.

PSSST - look at the post above the one you're quoting.

Sorry the joke (whatever it is ) is so bad but it still makes me LOL when people genuinely seem not to get it.
I always thought the NuWho Silurians would fit perfectly into the new UNIT series. Not just because of UNIT's history with the Silurians but also because of the global scope of the series. What I didn't expect was to have them in UNIT Assembled. That's a lot of returning elements in one box set. I'm sure they know what they're doing though. Also I believe it's Big Finish's first use of the Sea Devils outside of the Bernice Summerfield series.
It's going to be a long wait until May. Luckily we have UNIT Silenced to keep us going until then.
This announcement keeps getting better. Silurians/Sea Devils finally get to make a big splash (sorry for the pun). I've sorely missed them in my Big Finish listening as their stories are among my favorite Third Doctor era tales.
I'll also be actually quite keen to hear if this set's use of Jo references SJA at all.

Sea Devils! I guess with the classic UNIT connection it makes a lot of sense. Here is hoping the set takes a moment or three to pay tribute to the Brig.

This is incredible. Sea Devils, Silurians, Jo, Mike Yates, Benton, and the modern UNIT all in one audio. If I had a hat it would go off to Big Finish. Oh and of course the wizard Tom Webster does it again. This set has great potential. The Silurians are different from any other enemy UNIT has encountered. They're not aliens on someone else's planet. That said they're not necessarily good guys though. I hope some issues like pollution and the vastly different climate of modern Earth are addressed.

Or if it were something of a sequel to Doctor Who and the Silurians! Something that stood on its own feet of course but sins of the father coming back to haunt Kate. That would be kind of cool.

I have to say I'm really rather excited by this... not so much the Jo/Mike/Benton reunion, because you just know that will be fab, but the use of the Sea Devils!
Thinking of Benton though, will be a used car salesman (as per the reference in Mawdryn Undead) or was that just cover for something more interesting?
