Kronos the chronovore then. I'm not sure that Kronos (or Azal, or the Ambassadors, or the BOSS, or most of his other one off enemies) would really be considered iconic. The Nestene, Silurians, Sea Devils, and Sontarans all debuted in the Third Doctor's era, so it could be one of them. Its probably the Master though. Actually Azal would be awesome.

I was in the Robert Sherman panel earlier today and he stated that he was ready to start writing for BF again AND that he would love to do a Frobisher story. I hope he was serious.

Elliott Chapman told me that he has now recorded more episodes of Doctor Who than Michael Craze. He said that it was a mix of Early Adventures and Companion Chronicles. He hasn't yet done a Short Trips but would love to if offered.

It's probably too early to get excited regarding Shearman but... I'm excited.

I'd be happy to stick with Stephen Thorne and have him play Omega again - 10th anniversary villain who faced off against 3 Doctors at once counts, I think, as iconic.

Could be Omega or the Daemons, but I think it's Beevers.

Could be Omega or the Daemons, but I think it's Beevers. Omega is actually a really good idea, but I don't see why Tim would say "you'll probably all guess who i'm talking about". It seems to me that would have to be someone who's so iconic, that we'd all guess the same thing and to me the only character that iconic and well known is the Delgado Master. As for Beevers, this may just be how I interpret the wording, but I don't see the Beevers Master as iconic for "the Pertwee era". If it is the Master it would have to be Delgado to be iconic for that era. Frankly, with Delgado having passed away a long time ago, he fits BF's MO of only recasting parts for actors who have been gone a long time. I can also see them wanting to maximize the amount of utility that they can get out of the Master. The recast Delgado could be used in stories set earlier in Pertwee's era and even in some 2nd Doctor EA's if they want to embrace the continuity of The Dark Path. McIntee said that he didn't have Koschei change his name to The Master in The Dark Path on purpose, so that a season 6 2nd Doctor/Master story could be done in the future where the Doctor learns that he calls himself "The Master" now.

Bless him. If they recast Delgado, I'd want exactly that (with an adaptation of The Dark Path, of course).
